I did read pretty much everything about him, about his statements and how it's reported (almost).
He never said that, he said that there was no place for racism and bigotry and he refused to talk directly against the KKK and other such organisations, just like he did refuse to do so during his very first days of presidency when some pointed out that these organisations did support him and as if he would agree to condemn them. He even tried to "defend them" with the "free speech right".
Here's the full 16 min, he NEVER opposite to what you assert, condemn them, je just said he was against neo nazis, that not every groups were neo-nazis (never condemn directly the KKK and such), starting to swirl saying that Lee was somehow a good man or not worst than Washington or Jefferson (which is pretty untrue) and continued to drift away without condemning the KKK or the pro-white militias. He wen to talk about jobs, never saying why in the first place, walking with nazis/KKK flags should not even be permitted as it talks in plain sight for discrimination.
Poor Americans who died from 1941 to 1945 to stop nazis, seeing some of their grandsons walking with such Flag in the land of the free with the eye of their very own President turninig a blind eye.
