That’s because Canelo is the A side and he can go elsewhere. What’s GGG going to do, Fight Jacobs again for a lot less money and Potentially lose? Of course not he’ll wait for the super-welterweight like a good boy.
Canelo lost the fight. He has lost several fights now (to the non-blind) and it is a joke that he can still dictate. Should have been a rematch for January or February on Golovkin's terms. Once again, Canelo lost the fight (to the non-blind or utterly incompetent).

He didn’t lose and has only lost once (check the record books) Golovkin should give Jacobs a rematch instead trying to fight Cotto (another smaller man)

He lost to Trout, Lara, Mayweather and Golovkin. He's pretty lucky with the judges. Golovkin should give SMW a jog IMO. There is nothing more to prove at MW.

Though to be fair, Jacobs does actually deserve a rematch. Maybe Canelo could rematch Lara.

He lost to Mayweather, drew with Golovkin and beat both Trout and Lara. Golovkin gets dominated at 168 by Ramirez, Eubank and Degale (he complained about the size of Jacobs)

Check the record books Gamo, neither of them beat him.

If GGG has something to prove against Jacobs then why don't you accept that Canelo has something to prove against Lara and Trout?

Because Canelo isn’t fighting at 154 anymore. Trout has lost three of his last six and will probably be beaten again tonight. Lara is on a nice run but unless he wants to move up to 160 there’s no reason it should happen.

And so because Canelo isn't fighting at 154 that means he isn't avoiding them and he has nothing to prove
Canelo fought at SWW just 12 months ago, I'm sure that he could have quite easily arranged one of his beloved catchweights.
Canelo could have gave Lara a rematch at any point before he moved up to MW but he avoided him

Why is it acceptable for Canelo to get a pass on fighting Lara for being in a different division for 2 fights?
Why is it not acceptable for GGG to get a pass on fighting Ward who has been 2 divisions above him for the past 4 years?

Nobody likes Lara, the man has no fans and there’s nobody calling for that fight (apart from you) Lara was on the run and tried to steal it but Alvarez still out landed him with his power punches 88 to 52 (In a shit fight) Jacobs outlanded Golovkin with his power shots (144 to 126)

I haven't called for the fight, I have asked a question as to why you don't feel that Canelo had anything to prove against him when the general consensus is that Canelo lost the fight, you came up with the excuse that they are in different divisions now and I pointed out that the remained in the same division for a few years after the initial fight.

If GGG is avoiding Jacobs then surely the same applies to Canelo.

Your reasoning is that Jacobs 'arguably' beat GGG well if that is the case then Lara 'arguably' beat Canelo therefore he should have had something to prove

You can't just give a standard response of 'check the record books' to defend Canelo and not accept the exact same response for GGG
