So this fight is supposed to happen in America? This doesn't make any sense at all from Fury's point of view.

Does anything make sense in Fury Land? This won’t happen, and in a few months time, everybody will realise how pathetic this “Marketing campaign” is.

Exactly what I said this morning to my mate, you have 4 absolute clowns Fury, Wilder, Warren and Shirley, they have told the joke now we just need to wait for the punchline

The smart move for both guys is for Wilder to defend against Breazeale, then take the AJ fight in April. Fury can get a couple more step ups, 1 in Nov, another in Mar/ Apr. From there it's wide open really. It depends on what some of these other guys like Whyte, Miller, Ortiz and Parker do as well.

I think that's a marinating we can put up with, realistically.

Fury talks a lot of crap, but deep down this is probably what he really has in mind. You don't go diving into the deep end of the pool after taking a couple of baby steps in the wading pool. Either way he loses to either Wilder or AJ.

IMO the sun is already setting on Ortiz. Miller doesn't impress me at all, and to me will be a non-factor before too long. Not champion material. Whyte is definitely in the picture, and Parker, with a few adjustments, should be in there as well.

Yea I was meaning if they get in the way, Miller may get the April date over Wilder.

Whyte is still #1 with the WBC I think. That fight might happen before AJ. Or Whyte may rematch AJ before Wilder gets a shot.

Fury should be looking at Bellew or Chisora for the end of the year.

Pulev is floating about, I think he was still in line for an eliminator.

There is also the elephant in the room that is Charr vs Oquendo, someone is going to have to eventually clean that mess up.

“I believe 100 per cent that this fight is going to happen and it’s going to get done," Wilder, who is undefeated in 40 fights with 39 knockouts, said of the Fury match-up. "We’re very, very close. Closer than Joshua and me could ever get in a lifetime.

"It’s definitely gonna happen, there’s no doubt. There’s just a little more work to be done."

“Me and Fury, we talked with each other back and forth; I think he’s a great guy, we have a relationship together, and my team has a relationship with his team," Wilder told The Ring.

I thought Miller had made the move to swerve Pulev in eliminator so he can get wba winner? The thought of a 'young' undefeated top Miller facing a 4 yr out Fres Oquendo sounds like a major step backwards for American heavyweights .

Would love to see Whyte in big again right away. Not a AJ rematch though for AJs momentum sake.
