I reckon Hatton could've always been a 2-round blowout job, even in his prime, but he did know how to look after himself and box "smart," and could have fought to survive like Cotto, Mosley and Clottey did after realising they're out of their depth.
Mosley and clottey were welterweight Oliver McCall’s though, and cotto wasn’t totally out of his depth, think he actually won a couple of the early rounds? Again, those 3 guys would have beat the shit out of baton at that point as well.
I meant the "best possible Hatton" could have done better than getting shot dead inside 6 minutes, however, even the "best possible Hatton" might have been annihilated as he was stupid enough to try to win.

The other guys stopped fighting after six minutes for fear of being Hatton'd.

A prime Hatton-Cotto fight at 140 would have been interesting. They were all too big for him from 147 though, yeah.
