I've been wrong to many times in this sport to worry about that, anyone who says they haven't is lying.

For anyone really interested to see what Usyk can do at heavyweight, I'd suggest watching his World Series of boxing fights.

Usyk is a top class ameteur and professional boxer who is skilled, southpaw and has speed to carry up at heavyweight and make them dizzy. He will have to win on points against the very best. I can not see him do that against them. He will get caught.

But what are you basing that on? You seem pretty high on AJ, and I already pointed out that Usyk dealt with a guy who stopped AJ. He dealt with Huck (all be it, a more past it Huck) who should have got the nod over Povetkin, he dealt with Hunter, who exposed Ilunga, he dealt with Glowacki, who defeated Cunningham, who had some success at heavy. And I'm just touching the surface here.

I was only joking, but I have watched them all I believe. Unless I’m wrong, he hasn’t been in with anyone to compete at hw before? I think usyk would do well in general at hw and beat a lot of contenders, and that he’s technically better, naturally, just that the top few guys are so much bigger it would be a different world.

All good I know, not sure what you mean by the highlighted part. Those fights were all at heavyweight and basically pro fights. Junior Fa is an unbeaten heavy prospect at the moment, Joyce is also, plus the guys I mentioned previously to Master that have had some success over former heavies.

I guess I’m out to lunch here, I assumed you meant the WBss to be the cruiser tournament he just won. Do recall hearing about the other thing since you brought it up, but was it truly fighting top hws in a pro format?

There are many who feel the World Series of Boxing fights should be added to their pro records. Apart from singlets it's as close to pro as possible, no head gear, 10 to 12 oz gloves, 5 rounds, 10 point must system. He had 6 fights in that format at heavy. Like I said, Fa is now 15-0 as a pro, Joyce is 6-0, Majidov had an excellent amateur career which included a win over AJ. And Mihai Nistor stopped AJ.

Povetkin-Uysk makes sense but where does an English promoter with a massive USA TV deal put that on? Uysk-Joyce rematch would be a great little seller for a major fight (AJ) undercard though.

Chisora, Allen or Whyte must be odds-on for Povetkin. Fat baby Miller would be a great setup for an AJ shot.
