Re: Alex Jones material finding its way on YouTube again. lol
Not sure where my view is on it.
On one hand, censorship isn't good. On the other, if it is a social-media platform, then i see it as a business.
A business has a right to say:
No shoes, no shirt no service.
We serve wedding cakes to he and she, not he and he, or she and she or he-she and ...well U get it.
YouTube has a right to allow and disallow whoever, whenever, however & conservatives baulk at it IMO because they can't make, build, create on a media platform -they have piss poor ingenuity unlike liberals, from Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Zucker, Karim Hurley & Chen's Ytube.
If they could, they wouldn't give a rat's ass about being censored on youtube. But they haven't so they used there ideology to make it a conspiracy that they are being denied freedom of speech.
On the media overall
Every major news paper always has a dissenting view from their major stories, In Milwaukee it is the Journal-Sentinel and there is a conservative op-ed & a liberal op-ed. So there is no banning or censoring in print media.
There is however a monopoly on radio-media. It disgusts me how incapable liberals are at addressing the disparity of right wing radio station done by repealing laws that prevented monopolization. My point? The Alex Jones of the world aren't denied entrance to radio- conservatives have that on lockdown nationwide.
On major networks that is public television NBC, ABC, CBS & FOX; there has always been anchors that were conservative- but they were awesome at keeping their opinion to themselves & delivering news be it Sam Donaldson, George Will, Tim Russert, Mike Wallace. Public television's news anchors don't really lean either way. But that is my perspective.
today - on cable that is their major focus. Selling ideology FOX on cable tv is biased for conservatism point blank. they are jacktails who inspire limited thinking, partisanship America. On the left they inspire homos, lezbos and low IQ standards.
Rachel Maddow pushes liberalism/progressivism-- & somehow on the right, they affixed cable to regular t.v. Then attach successful businesses like Twitter or YouTube as well & claim they are being denied their right to speak.
That is where I draw the line.
even if Twitter came out and said this is where we stand on politics and who we support: it is their right! Why should they suffer because those who they kick off can turn it political?
I don't like it that YouTube bans those I respect, but I'd rather come up with an alternative and visit that site- then to petition them. And I never could get use to using something called Twitter, sounds so sissified.
Let Alex Jones have his say. Better to know what his kind is saying as opposed to running them underground and having no clue.
