You seem to think this is a one way street in which you are free to moan about somebody offending you, or groups that you are a part of, or have much in common with, (which is what you are doing here) but that nobody else should have that freedom extended to them. Alex Jones is exactly the same. To portray him as a victim is beyond ridiculous and undermines any suggestion that you are worried about anything more than offending as many people as possible, and keeping this forum as a safe space where you are protected from anyone expressing a view that contradicts yours.

I did not go out of my way to seek something to be offended by, I responded to the idea that society should carry on with no regard to vulnerable and disabled people in order to pretend that their lives do not really matter. That is what has happened for many years long before the pandemic and to not recognise that now is an opportunity lost.

It was a nice thing to do but i didn't think any less of you as a person just because i thought your casual dismissal of covid restrictions reflected a view of disabled people most people have shared for centuries. People are complex, but seem recently unable to hold more than one thought in their head at the same time.I am glad none of your family suffered much with Covid symptoms but that doesn't mean you have to feel that you can't be frank and free with dissing my opinions.
