Saw that too. Sounds like Turki pulled rank on Dana before the first presser even took shape. If those two egos co-exist and manage to make it to the opening bell still holding hands, I'll be shocked. It'll be a $100 straight PPV no doubt, no netflix.

You're probably right. The prospect of a $100 PPV to watch Canelo-Crawford just doesn't give me (personally) a warm and fuzzy. I know they'll get lots of buys. The show must go on, after all. But I've never believed in this fight from the very beginning. With the specters of Charlo and Scull not too far in the past... why the hell would I subject myself to another programmed gimme??

Nah. I love boxing and will continue to pay for PPV's that I deem worthy. But for this one I'll probably settle for a good ol' Saddo RBR by you guys.

Not going to lie it all rides on the undercard for me and what they roll out but don't expect anything jaw dropping. Could also see them trying to co mingle this card with that Fridays ufc ppv as they're basically under the same oversight now regardless of what Turki says. But Sept also feels a year away and as of yet they have not announced a location for the fight. It's all very much up in the air.
