As recent as September of last year I was at a venue here in metro Detroit and an interviewer asked him about fighting. Tommy pretty much said he's not done. I don't know what he's trying to accomplish. I saw his last fight against a much younger, although far less abled opponent. What he lacked in reflexes he compensated with superior ring intelligence until he pounded the kid into the mat. But if he's thinking that'll work against someone anywhere near a top ten list he'll not only be feeling his oats he'll be getting them fed to him via a tube.

Tommy was never serious about the comeback...He just likes to get in every now and then to see if he can still do it....Sad part is even though he beat guys younger and 30+ lbs his starting off weight when in his prime.....50yrs old and can still crack a jaw
