Lets face it Hatton is a natural 140 pounder and struggled against Collazo previousley at Welterweight so did Hatton have a chance ??.

But wasn't you the one that said that it was just an *off night* against Collazo. And wasn't you the one picking Hatton to win

No mate you will never find me saying Hatton has an off night against Collazo, I give it to him by 2 points but I admit he looked hopeless at welter.

I was picking Hatton to win as I'm sure you would pick PBF over Cotto or Williams as he's my favourite fighter but looking back in hindsight Hatton had virtually no chance with his style against PBF's and PBF IS ducking the other welters FACT, at least Hatton's not scared to lose his "0".

When i mentioned Collazo fight im pretty sure your the one who said Hatton had an off night vs Collazo with making weight etc, i would pick Mayweather over Cotto and Williams because he is the better fighter. Not just because Mayweather is one of my favorite fighters, see now Hatton has lost you say he had no chance but thats not what you was saying before the fight, and if Hatton would of won you wouldn't be saying that either, and its opinion that Mayweather is ducking Williams, Cotto, not a fact, just like Hatton is ducking Witter is an opinion not a fact

Is not a fact Hatton is ducking Witter because Hatton has said one day he could fight Witter he does not rule it out.

I said Hatton had 5 weeks or something to prepare for the Collazo fight and for him to do that on his first trip to welter and beat Collazo and knock him down is damm good considering Floyd needed a trial at the weight which included a shot Sharmba Mitchell, pointless fight that was

And I always thought Hatton could beat PBF but ask Ono, I sent him a PM saying I feel PBF could win or something along the lines of that so I was not 100% adamant Hatton would win as that would be stupid considering he is fighting Floyd Mayweather, going to HIS preffered weight and HIS backyard.

BTW Floyd in many people's eyes is ducking Cotto and Williams and for some reason everyone is round Hatton like flies on shite talking about him ducking Witter and Floyd goes for the money route in a part time fighter in De La Hoya next and nobody mentions nothing about fighting somebody who would give him problems and don't say ODLH will give him problems in the second fight as even you said he won the first by 3 rounds so why is Floyd taking a rematch. Looking for the easy option if you ask me to avoid Cotto and Williams who he's scared of

If you were Hatton after a crushing KO loss would you take on Witter ATM who is full of confidence and has an awkward style ?? I doubt it.

Hatton needs a couple of fights to build his confidence up before he owns Witter's ass like he has done to everybody else at 140!!!

Golly gee, when I read the title of this thread I was expecting Pride to announce his "coming out of the closet" celebration. Guess it's a little premature yet.

Anyhoo; I couldn't see how anyone wouldn't see the greatness in Floyd in the 1st place. Guys beat everyone put in front of him, and most with an ease that is almost absurd in its effortlessness. My only complaint is this b.s. rematch with Oscar; as he should be fighting Cotto if he wants to claim best 147 around; or even PW, as he is a major threat.

As far as Hopkins/Calzaghe goes, I would be shocked to see Joe run circles around Hop. Hopkins has been there done that and Hop will be up for this fight like no other; especially since there is that "clash of countries" thing and he won't want to be beat much less embarassed by a "foreigner"{a white one at that}lol. Expect a war inside to say the least.

    Manfredo is still a joke

Thats exactly what i just said it isn't a fact just like your comment about Mayweather ducking Cotto, Williams, isn't a fact either.

Collazo was virtually unknown by most boxing fans at the time, he was considered to be an easy victory for Hatton at Hatton's new weight, most people were predicting a KO early for Hatton, just like Mitchell was supposed to be an easy victory for Mayweather at Mayweather's new weight, the only difference is at least Mitchell had a name and at least Mayweather beat him in impressive fashion, where as Hatton didn't.

Im not saying you did for 100 percent thought Hatton would win, but you along with the Hatton fans were still predicting a win for Hatton, you all said he would be one of Mayweather's toughest fight, and now Mayweather KO's Hatton in impressive fashion you Hatton fans say Mayweather *picked* his fight with Hatton, and i think that is very unfair.

These *people* who are saying Mayweather is ducking Cotto, have no evidence to back there claims up, its there opinion and until they can back it up with solid evidence which i haven't seen yet its only an opinion who no substance behind it. The reason Mayweather is taking the ODLH fight is because he is getting a ton of money much more money than he will get for a Cotto fight, plus it will be much bigger PPV. Just look at the PPV ratings Cotto got for his last few fights, then look at what Mayweather vs ODLH got on the PPV ratings it was one of the biggest ever, theres a big difference. Now i may not agree with it but it is good business sense, and if i was in Mayweather's shoes i would probably do the same.

I have already said Hatton deserves a confidence booster first, but if Witter beats Hopkins and Hatton has his confidence booster fight. If he then doesn't fight Witter that is going to raise a lot of question's and ditto with Mayweather as well.
