If you grew up around African Americans youd hear the phrase "white boy" but youd also here the phrase "brother"
Now if Calzaghe was from Philly and said,"There is no way Im losing to a brother",I highly doubt we'd hear a peep of this feigned indignance
You sure as hell didnt hear it going in to the most racially charged fight in the last 30 years,Holmes/Clooney
Mind you,it wasnt either of the principles who were fanning the fire
It was only the President of the United States Of America doing it
I doubt that, but you're free to feel that way.

I think the actions of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson tell you all you need to know....they have no white counterparts who do similar things

They don't have any white counterparts because white people haven't historically been an oppressed minority in America. In terms of stirring up conflict then they don't compare to people like Limbaugh and Savage who have much bigger audiences.

    Good one,dont forget Ann Coulter,Neil Boortz,Bill Orielly,The Klu Klux Klan,Aryan Nations,The Order,Christian Posse Comitatis,and Hannity
Actually it would really take a while to list all of the fanners of Supressed White Anger at having to give equal rights to people they feel superior to

I mean give credit where its due though

...I think what Limbaugh and Savage and their ilk do is a lot different than what Jackson and Sharpton do.

Jackson and Sharpton "play the race card" they extort money from legitimate businesses....it's not NASCAR's fault that black people don't like that sport and very few want to participate in it....they aren't banned from doing it though, there have been plenty of black drivers but I guess not enough for Jesse Jackson who burned them for $150,000....and Tawana Brawley was just ridiculous....but Al Sharpton got his spotlight and hasn't ever gotten tired of calling racism on EVERYTHING except for rap music.....sure Sharpton and Jackson talk about it a little bit but if they can extort money and bully sponsors why can't they do that to the rap industry

The KKK isn't a legitimate organization TM don't be a fucking smart ass you know God damned well that isn't what I am talking about.

    Really
This was Limbaugh proudly proclaimed himself as representing the "angry white male",and there was a stretch of highway being cleaned by the Klan.
Are you that naive that you dont know about the huge white Supremacist underground the 80's gave birth to?
For god sakes, they have their own music festivals, all over the country

....I don't want "White Supremacists" coming to my aid if something race related ever happened to me. Limbaugh is different, he's a talk show host and if you think what Bernard Hopkins said was OK then what Rush says is OK.

All I would like is a level playing field....I don't want crosses burned in people's yards or anything.

But feel free to expound upon how bad you think my views are, I don't think you or Kirkland have said anything near as sensational as you need to. Please portray me as a idiotic racist bigot....because it's so true

All I wanted to do is to call out someone for saying something inappropriate and just so long as Bernard knows he doesn't need to do that to drum up excitement about the fight is all that needs to happen....is that bad? Is it too harsh? Am I being unreasonable by expecting similar consequences for black people as for white people....you know most enlightened people would say "Hey, he wants everyone to be treated equal, that's awesome, great job, way to go!"

But no, I get berated by you two, thanks, I appreciate it, your arguements against me are so needed and well based in reality....keep up the good work

Oh whatever Limbloat says is okey dokey,he has a right to say it
Of course I have a right to respond as well
Ill admit,Bernard sometimes has a hard time getting his head out of Germantown/Graterford
But to use him to excuse the wild rantings of someone who is paid to talk, and talk alone is silly
    Interestingly enough,something to consider
I drop a white boy in the middle of Germantown
And a black boy in the middle of Society Hill
Which 7 year old do you think is more likely to get fed and cared for?
(I know you allready know the awnser, but I doubt you say it)

I didn't try to compare Rush and Hopkins, I compared Rush to Jackson and Sharpton.

I'm not making the arguement that everything Rush says is OK nor that everything Hopkins says is bad...so far as I know this is the only bad thing Bernard has said and my whole arguement was that it was wrong and he should have known better because he has been in the public eye for quite some time and he's become a promoter and he should know better.

Why are you trying to hammer home a point that by this time is absolutely worthless....yeah so Bernard grew up poor and in a bad town, same town you did apparently but hey this is fucking boxing, show me some boxers that were handed everything and grew up rich and in great neighborhoods.....and how many times does this kind of blatant racist remark surface from such a popular fighter

Bernard was wrong for saying what he said, he doesn't need any punishment but he should know better and that is all I am saying so if you're going to argue with that go right ahead but know that by arguing with me you're either saying "There is nothing wrong with what Hopkins said" or "He needs to be punished" and I think both of those are wrong, all that needs to be said is that he should know better and don't let it become a habit

White politicians "play the race card" to get elected and hit businesses up for vast sums of money but this doesn't bother you at all. Why are you holding black politicians to a higher standard than white politicians ?

White politicians play the race card and it's dispicible...what happened to John McCain in SC was horrible, what happened to Harold Ford Jr. was deplorable.....and Hillary Clinton has played the race card already in this election. But that's in politics and not in the professional field...I don't know of anyone who does that basing it on the discrimination of white people...please feel free to enlighten me in this if I have overlooked someone.

I don't hold either black or white politicians to a higher standard...I doubt you know who Harold Ford Jr is....if he was Obama's VP I just might cast a vote for him.....if McCain wasn't going to be the Republican candidate but my vote isn't a matter of race but a matter of who I trust and who has AMERICA's best intrest in mind.

Any other conclusions about me that you wish to jump to?

There aren't any black politicians that do stuff that white politicians don't. There's no reason to single out guys like Sharpton for shaking down businesses for contributions when it happens on a huge scale legally every day in Washington. Except that you must be holding black politicians to a higher standard than white ones.

Sharpton isn't a politician, he's a race pimp....can't you see he gets money because he can prove racism is still around and therefore if there is racism then Al Sharpton has it good and therefore Al Sharpton likes racism because it gets him on camera and makes him money......so by that rational Al doesn't want racism to ever go away because if it did then he'd be a nobody.

I do love your contemptuous view of America and it's politics, it's so very refreshing, we don't have enough of it with Bill Maher
