Too true lol, I'm still hoping though that I have an undiscovered genius inside me that's just been lying dormant until the right moment.

Newton's moment began when an apple fell on his head, I'm hoping for my own 'moment of clarity' experience soon

It makes you wonder if psychic powers are real. Although she may have had a string to make the fork and the sunglasses move...

physic powers are real, most of us only know the very basics though. Such as knowing when someone is upset without facial expression, knowing someone is lying or being fake, knowing when someone may be harm at what he/she is doing etc things like that. We have many sense, our brains are nearly there. The bad thing is most of us are not yet ready for it and thinks its something too unusual for a human being. In that case, most of us deny it and it results in all of us failing to obtain a more advance sense. A few may have flirted with a higer level but for those few it is difficult to harness more energy or sense when mankind is still denying the possibilities.

I've had experience with paranormal things. I use to have high fevers and convulsions as a kid. I actually almost went mental or retarded. My first experience came when my mother, who was a volunteer at our local church took me to a priest. From then on all i can remember was being told I would recover and everything would be fine. Little did I know I was put to sleep and the story was, the person that told me I'd be fine wasn't the priest or anybody around physically. It may have just been a dream, but that voice spoke to me like a father that never kept his eyes off me. I would later tell my mother of my experience, she ofcourse as a catholic would tell me it was GOD. That spoke to me.

Another experience I have are loud noises and glipse of things. I have recover but about once a year I would be overwhelm by some kind of noise and random glipse I see with an open eye. As a kid I would cry these away because they scared me. I can remember this huge bolder appearing to come at me non stop and a place burning with full of people screaming. for years i tried to keep this from everyone fearing everyone would think im crazy and begin to doubt I had really recover. I didn't want to get sent away so I kept it to myself for as long as possible. Well by 10 years old I just had to tell someone, and my family was very supportive and would help me get through them. the paranormal thing about these images is that I've been able to tap into a different league of sense. There was this one time when I had just woken up I was about 11 at the time. My mother leaves for work at 3pm i woke up about 3:20pm. I awake to that overwhelming sense I get with the noise, huge bolder and random images. I get up trying to fend it off, my sister notices me. She kept asking what was wrong but I rush off screaming where is mama. She tells me she had already left for work. I then told her for some reason she was on her way back. At this time me and my sister was standing infront of our house next to the gates and after a few minutes, after my sister had failed to get me back into the house. My mother arrives back, she had forgotten something and i didn't think much of this at the time. I just knew she was on her way back. My sister was ofcourse shocked. I've had things like this happen to me a few times throughout my boyhood.

One more thing I want to share. i don't know if any of you guys ever been asleep but aware of your surroundings. I've experience not being able to wake up and it felt like my body was paralized. I use to have to fend these off a lot. the only think I could move were my teeth and I would keep trying to move them til I could finally move the rest of my body. Anyways, I once had this dream. I was in this place I can't really explain. At first I just thought it was just another dream. I can control my dreams most of the times but this one was different. I was confronted by these people asking for my help. I told them, why can't I leave this dream. I want to go somewhere else. They told me I need to help them first, not in a forceful way though. I had no choice so i stayed and help. So I did manage to help these people somehow and then they told me I can now awake. I then did. another dream I had was in this hill or some kind of edge meeting a men who I could feel was very powerful. I would often get this dream, meeting this person but I would never remember what we spoke about. One of the weirdest dream I had was this one time, I was inside my 5th grade class. Everything felt normal but then I started to feel something unusual so i thought I'd go to the little sink and mirror we had in a little room inside class. I washed my face I think, and as I look in the mirror I could see my hair growing up similar to jesus hair. I know that sounds crazy but i swear on everything Im not lying. Dreams may not or may mean something, Im still waiting what everything has meant. sometimes though living and staying busy with work and other reality things, it feels like I lose these sense or paranormal things. I feel like I begin to become more normal when Im like a robot like everyone else in the big city.

Any of you guys have experience like this too? probubly not huh, maybe im just retarded

Don't worry you're not alone on the dream thing. I think the question regarding your retardation remains open though

Just kidding. The scariest dream I ever had was about 4 or 5 months ago and involved the paralysis thing you talked about.

I woke up (rather dreamt I did) and sat in front of my pc actually logging into this site. I then pulled open the curtains. To my horror instead of my normal view outside was a cow abatwar and a truck at the top of this road where the cattle where being led down and then slaughtered right opposite my house.

I now obviously realised I was dreaming and tried to wake myself up. I actually dreamt I woke up again, and truly believing I was awake I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I saw a flash of something behind me and felt the most fear I have ever felt.

I felt something was in my flat and about to kill me. Seriously I'm getting the shivers now just talking about and keep looking over my shoulder expecting the girl from the Ring's hair to drape over my shoulder

Anyways I dreamt I got back into bed and was trying to raise my self up, literally willing myself to wake up. Just like you I had to do the grinding of the teeth thing and when I finally did wake up I leapt out of bed and pulled the curtains open and thanfully everything was normal, but I really really shit my self.

Another time in my old flat I dreamt I was thrown out of bed and actually did fall out of bed and wake up. Because it seemed so real (again it was the Ring girl, the original Japanese scary girl not the cute kid in the American version) I rung my brother from the kitchen and told him I had been thrown out of my bed. He told me it was just a dream and I went back into my bedroom with him still on the phone. I swear to you by bed was pushed upright against the wall!

I ran back into my kitchen and told my brother who assured me I was still dreaming so I went back in again and it was all normal.

I went back to sleep and the next morning wasn't sure if I had dreamt the whole thing or not. I rung my brother and he confirmed that I did indeed ring in the night so that part at least hadn't been a dream.

Pretty freaky but I don't think it was paranormal.

They say you run into people that can relate to you in many ways. I thought I was the only one maybe im not retarded after all but yea that experience is crazy. Throughout the years though I have overcome it. I remember being so fearful but this one time I just gave up and was curious what would happen. For some reason I was sure nothing bad would happen to me. so I just didn't fend of that experience and it for some reason just went away. I haven't gone through it for a long while now. I think its nothing to me know, I actually feel like it fears me now. That something imo feeds off your fear and once you realize to just relax and have faith nothing bad will happen to you. Just like in any dream, just relax and take back your mind (or dream) but in this case what ever this thing is just relax and take back your body. Ooh yea i remember there was a few times I had a out of body experience while I had this paralize experience. I saw myself asleep, and I tried to get people to wake me up I at that time was shyt scared. I didnt know what to do, when I finally woke up I was so afraid to go back to sleep.

Whilst I'd love to share your optimism I doubt having similar life experiences to myself would be considered an indicator of sanity by any other fellow board members.

Anyway nothing wrong with being a bit nutty. One of my hero's is the man who eat's badgers on Bodmin Moor. He's just drives along the moorland and scoops up any roadkills he finds and takes them home, skins them and puts them in his freezer to eat.

All the locals think he's a crazy deviant but in reality he's reducing his carbon footprint and minimising waste. He's a trailblazer.

    Embrace your retardation Rains

I have been pinned down and paralyzed like you too and have had my voice stifled like the girl floating at the end of Titanic but soon as I am able to speak or utter anything it takes all my energy but I say "JEHOVAH" " JEHOVAH" and no sooner do I utter gods name I get released and the force that was taunting me runs away scared like a thief in the night like the coward it is, I feel angry since I feel like I am being picked on like a bully and I cant fight back, I wish I could spit in its face and kick its azz but its not my battle but god who watches over and protects me..

I have excellent dream control and can most of the time wake myself up or regain total concious or wits when I get that feeling again.. I am very sensitive to that stuff but I shut it out and ignore and use my strong will to counter it.. I dont put any energy into that world as though I feel you shouldnt mix company if you want to keep harmony and peace in your life.. You do your thing and they can do theirs somewere away from me

Default Re: I want to become a master of the paranormal

Although I've never had anything supernatural happen when it comes to dreams, in the past when I was a smaller kid whenever I'd dream something, there would be these puddles on the ground. But they were puddles that LOOKED like the reflection of the sky off the water, but it wasn't water, it was an actual sky. And if I jumped down in them, I INSTANTLY WOKE UP. A lot of times in the dream, I actually KNEW I was dreaming, and if I jumped in one of those puddles, I would instantly awake. And I would intentionally jump in it, and sure enough, I would instantly wake up!

Don't know if that's ordinary, being able to perform a certain action in a dream and have control of whether I wake up or not... I haven't had one of those dreams in a long time though.
