Smile Re: David Haye v Enzo Maccarinelli - Cruiserweight Title Unification RBR - LIVE NOW

I think he did come of age too ... Ive always been a big Mitch fan but thought he was way way too static in there tonight ... and Carl had him worried on a number of occasions ...

Ya gotta feel a little sorry for the Leeds lad, may be those nights or alleged nights that he is rumored to have had on the town caught up with him in the end, but I could not understand the commentator hinting that Carl had gone because he'd given his all, and had run a little out of gas

Of course he was tired, but Mitchell was hitting him all through the fight with half decent body shots, which for me would have to tell at some stage, and eventually did,

There will certainly be some major homework done by the Mitchell camp before they step up again, there has to be, ie using his guard with effect, and if someone can let Mitch know that it is ok for him to move his head sometimes, and to use the jab which he does well or has done in the past ... except for the right hand guard dropping that is .....

But fair play to Mitchell he came through against who Id describe as a strong, tuff, reasonably hard hitting though limited, journeyman, that was there to win though....

But he is going to have to improve, as we saw nothing new tonight except that he really does take a shot well ... and that when his back his against the wall ... he can deliver a little bit of class ..... at this level, but beyond that, well ....who knows.

I see Calzaghe in the dressing room with Enzo. Even more reason I want to see Enzo get knocked out.

    1) Woods is speaking northern....I believe they are working on a subtitling system for you.

I wanna see Haye win this one then move up to HW and atleast give that division a bit of excitement. I cant help but think that his stamina issues may see him lose this fight which would be a shame.

David Haye gets a rapturous welcome there, and he's coming on to "Ain't no stopping us now". Haye's taking his time getting to the ring, and revelling in the atmosphere. He finally makes it into the ring. Lots of stars around the ring. Bruno. Holyfield. Khan.

Maccarinelli coming in second, and there's a fiery welcome for the Welshman coming to London. "I won't back down" is his entrance music, and I just smacked one of my mates who stood dancing in front of me. Next time he goes to work on Monday with a black eye.

Haye pacing the ring a bit. Maccarinelli just bouncing up and down. Some fit ladies in the ring there too. Finally, it's here. Maccarinelli will now on be shortened to Macca. As they're announced, another round of boos for Macca. Calzaghe just behind him with the Welsh flag. Some cheers for him as well.

Haye definitely has the bigger fan base....and is looking mean and prowling by himself. Apparently he's living in Northern Cyprus these days. intense stare out.

Macca with a bfirst punch that makes haye stumble, and Haye is the one circling so far. Cagey stuff. Jab from Macca and Haye misses wildly. They're both worried about each others power. Haye jabs and misses, Macc with a jab, then a clinch. Haye falls short with a jab to the body. Macc has the quicker hands. Body shot from Haye, and abig left from Macc. Haye partially gets his right hook blocked. Haye lunging in to the jab. Macca falling short with two jabs. Jab and straight right from Haye. Jab and right to the body from Haye. Still cagey stuff. Left hook from Macca.

    Very close, tied round.

    Round 2:

Both men falling short wirth jabs. Still cagey, with Hatye centre ring now. They swap right hooks, but rough stuff. Clinch, and a body shot from Macc. Big jab and right hand from Haye. Jab and a hook from Haye, Macc ducks under and lands a big left hook. Good right hand and Macc is still standing. Hate with a firm jab. Macc with another body shot. Jab right hook, big right hooks, and another, Maccis on wobbly legs. Maccarinelli is waved off. David Haye was emphatic.

Haye was sensational. Big right hand. Maccarinelli just couldn't take it. Haye is walking the ring, delighted with it.
