But people overlook a fighters flaws in the wake of a spectacular fight but one person who wouldn't is his opponent. And at heavyweight I think Haye would have a lot of problems and turn out to be a herbie hide. A knockout here and there maybe even a title but shall fall against the truly skilled heavyweights like Wladimer

Can't see how you can say the guy hasn't the skills - technically and ability wise he has everything.

He is entertaining and skillful. He always has been since his amateur days. His speed has always been his main asset along with reflex's. The power is what everyone notices and seem to ignore his undoubted skills.

As for overlooking flaws - possibly but people keeping on about stamina when he has been weight drained yet had no stamina problems in stopping Mormeck in 7 and Fragomeni in 9 - where were the stamina problems then?

What happened in his 11th fight is irrelevant to the fighter he is now - his lifestyle is no longer partying 24/7, as he has settled down and is training hard which was proven by him getting down in weight and losing 30lbs of muscle to win then defend the Cruiserweight titles.

The shit served up by Wladimir Klitschko the other day was just further proof that the guy is overhyped by some fans - I can't see what is so special about him and I having seen at least 20 of his fights - I know I ain't missing anything. Infact the guy is getting worse.

Even if Haye fails it sounds like you would prefer to watch Klitschko slap jab his way to victory over a completely shot Lamon Brewster and then a nobody champion like Ibragimov - if that's how you like your Heavyweight Champions then so be it. I'd rather watch Haye fight.

Just you saying Ibragimov is a nobody leads me to believe you have no idea what you are talking about. He is a fast, solid puncher, who is a southpaw and had an extensive amateur career in Russia. Klitschko hardly slaps with his jab, he lands that jab as hard as anybody has ever landed a jab (including Louis, Foreman, Liston, etc). If you have seen 20 Klitschko fights, and you aren't impressed than David Haye shouldn't impress you at all because despite the fact he is skilled, he isnt' as skilled as Klitshcko, he doesn't have the defensive skills, or the arsenal of punches Wlad used to use, but DOESN'T have to right now. What Wlad against Mercer and if you aren't impressed by how good he is there then your an idiot.

Haye is an exciting heavyweight prospect who has just come along at the right time - and the way he fights is only going to generate interest

Let's face it - look at the top ten heavies and apart from Wlad and Peter you'd defo pick him against any of them
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
