Wlad is the best of the current crop of heavies but he ain't the best ever... he ain't even in the top 10.

Vitali/ Sanders was for the vacant Ring championship, so if I was Sanders I would have taken that fight too over a rematch with Wlad. There was never really an opportunity for a rematch with Wlad & probably never will be now. Wlad has improved a ton since his losses & has to be favored against any of the current top 10 if matched!

Sure Wlad was disappointing against Imbragimov but he got the win which is the most important thing. It's what he does from here that will matter.
