I like the sound of your training camp - we don't really have a long off season here. Maybe just a month after Christmas I guess.

I guess we have fewer matches so we try to just take them whenever we get them.

I like your training plan idea though - it might be a while before I put anything like this into effect but you're giving me ideas.

I wanted to go to a high altitude running camp in early March but transport issues (buses only run there when it's skiiing season) and financial issues prevented that from happening.

I think I was not quite up with my running enough then to benefit from it as opposed to just thrashing myself and coming back unable to move for 2 weeks.

I might go at the end of the year perhaps.
Our season is too long off, I think it's the school holidays, thats three months!!!
A bout every fortnight isn't that unusual for me, but I'll need to be in good condition going in and get some good nutrition so I don't crash.

The summer here will give us our warmest weather...Probably in the region of 25 degrees celsius. Inside in a gym it'll probably be a peak of 30, so I'm looking forward to the boost that will give my lungs.

The high altitude running sounds great! I've heard of its advantages of course, but never of it's use, so be sure and give us a report whenever you go!

I was asked to fight this week.
Last night was my first night back boxing, had been to the gym a few nights before. I actually Think I will fight, but I'll spar Wednesday to be sure.

I need lots more ideas for the camp, so lay them on me!!!
