Thumbs down Re: Antonio Margarito is the real deal and I'm just a hatin fool for not recognizing.

    Lyle,

You are a one trick pony and a pathetic one at that, you personify the typical loudmoth ignorant pinnacle of Douchebaggery...

You are on everyone that fights Mayweathers nutz, as some bionic hero, you say the same stupid shitt everytime, no wonder why you are such a political whoremonger since your message is as unoriginal, misleading and empty as your political views and ideas...

Here is a sample of Lyles drivel everytime he analyzes Mayweathers opponent or potential opponent.. Note its the same exact Bullshit with just a different name inserted to the begining of the sentence

"No one is gonna attack Mayweathers body like this guy"

"No one is gonna manhandle Mayweather like this guy"

"This guy is gonna crack Mayweathers Defense"

"Mayweather is a fragile fighter"....... as much as this statement is ridiculous and as so removed from reality, its an indictment on your lack of knowledge

So Einstein in your infinite wisdom you fail to realize the facts of Floyds skill..

    1) Is in ring intelligence and pre-gameplan execution is 2nd to none not to mention his ability to adapt and adjust is on par with some of the Greats of the past 30 or so years.

2)His defense is top 5 of the past 30 years on par with Whitaker, Wright, Hopkins and Toney.. And none of these guys are on the level of transitioning their defense to offense as good as Floyd, to the degree that he is the quickest and most agile out of the bunch

    3) His accuracey combined with speed dont make him a concussive puncher, but he is a sharp stinging puncher that makes ALL of his opponents leary of opening up as the fight progresses for fear of what Floyd will return with... Floyd busts his opponents up throwing half the amount of punches..

    4) Floyds fast accurate punches get through holes in defense as well as defenses because of his pinpoint accuracey

    5) Floyd is as resilient as they come he has displayed mental and physical toughness time and time again...

    6) Floyd DOES NOT rely on athletic ability and reflexes 1st. He relies on technical savy and fundemantal brilliance foremost and then supplements with athletic ability, so if he wasnt at his physical peak for a fight it wouldnt be detrimental to him ALA Roy Jones.

    7) Floyds boxing pedigree speaks for itself

    Lyle,
you forget Floyd is no gonna sit there and let his opponent hit him with his hands down what makes Floyd the best is that he fights his own fight no matter what nor does he get rattled no matter the circumstance and he makes the added adjustments that are needed to prevail

I can go on and on but reasoning with you is like reasoning with a zip lock freezer bag

How many fighters finish their careers unbeaten and on top?

Would or would not Miguel Cotto be the most menacing puncher Floyd Mayweather Jr. has ever fought?

I am glad you can notice some similarities in my posts about PBF but he WILL lose, I've always said Cotto was going to be tough for him and even if he was able to beat Cotto he will have been in an actual fight for once in his pathetic career.

JT sure Floyd has skill but he SPLIT DECISIONED Oscar De la Hoya...it took him 11 Rounds to stop Ricky Hatton a JUNIOR WELTERWEIGHT. So you keep right on thinking that Mayweather is the greatest of all time.....all I want is for that punk ass to fucking challenge himself...I'd like to see him get his loud mouth wired shut by Cotto but hey just fighting the guy shows Mayweather actually has SOME guts....but I guess we'll just have to watch Floyd vs De la Hoya II the fight everyone wants to see

    are you for real
    mayweathers "pathetic career"
Mayweather cleaned up the junior lightweight and lightweight divisions in his career.what divisions has Cotto proved himself the best in??
    NONE
this Cotto worshipping is becoming a fucking joke.
he`s proven nothing yet in his career.
do you honestly think Cotto is a more "menacing " puncher than De La Hoya?? are you sick in the fucking head
if Bob Arum thought Cotto could beat Mayweather the fight would`ve happened by now. watch how Cotto struggled with Demarcus Corley............and even Judah. Mayweather would box his ears off

Cotto's defence is good but he's no Pernell. He eats shots and he'll be eating Tony's shots too. Listen,he'll try to box but when you have a freocious Mexican chasing after you,in a Mexico v PR title fight, and you're getting tagged time and time again, defence will go out of the window. I hope Marg jumps on him from the opening round, makes him fight a war. Remember, even if Cotto does box,Tony is so much bigger and longer,Cotto will still be blocking long and looping right hands!

Number 1 weapon for Tony=UPPERCUT!! Cotto is open to it,the way he places his hands. Judah has shown it too.

Tony Margarito is a bonafide bada$$. There are boxers and then there are FIGHTERS. Tony is the latter. Watching Tony fight, it's somewhat mystifying how good he is. Here's a guy who's slow, awkward, unathletic, throws wide punches but somehow he gets the job done.

From a purely logical standpoint, Cotto should win a hard fought UD. He is quicker, more athletic, and more naturally talented than Tony. Yet many of the fighters that Tony has defeated have had these advantages and still been vanquished. I just watched the second Santos fight and frankly I thought Santos got a hometown decison. Santos was much quicker, bigger and more naturally gifted yet Tony was ripping him something awful. I'm not sure how he does it, but he always manages to land his shots, even against slick guys. He's just got that intangible that makes him so dangerous. I think Cotto could win if he plays it safe and outboxes Tony, but I don't think he could win a war. Tony doesn't get broken down, and when it comes down to it, I think Cotto is more vulnerable to being KO'd. I'll be rooting for Tony, but either way, I just can't wait to see this one!
