Yes sir; I'd definately have the time of my life in Oz. The snake most wanted by me is the Reevesby Island Tiger, jet black and has developed an even more toxic venom than the mainland or Taz ones. They have to hunt mutton birds underground and seeing as how the prey is larger and more dangerous than an average skink or rat, the venom has developed into a more potent form. Amazing stuff really, IMO.
I don't think I would mess with the Eastern Browns, fast as quicksilver and the 2nd most toxic venom in the world, and fast acting. I believe 4 or 5 people died last year in Oz, one man bit and died in 40 minutes by a juvenile. Pretty bad snakes.
The red bellied blacks are gorgeous animals; with quite the attitude so I understand. Copperheads are cool as they are true cannibals; but ugly IMO
The death adders are awesome because they share so many characteristics of vipers, though they are elapids. Very cool.
Coastal taipans are the SH#T!!! Freaks of nature man
