How does he have a suspect chin? He has never been dropped or knocked out. You have no clue what you are saying.

I know he was pulled down by Torres and it was ruled a knock down but if you know about boxing you can clearly see he was pulled. You keep believing Cotto has a suspect chin. It's the same mistake many of his opponents have made, I think this is a good thing for Cotto becuase he is underestimated until it becomes too late. They all fall into this trap about how slow they hear Cotto is or how one dimmensional he is or how all he knows how to do is come forward, am I right?

I dont think Cotto is slow or that he's one dimensional. He showed alot of slickness in the mosley fight and if anything that is what would be the hardest thing for Marg. to deal with. I did see the Torres fight and it could have been a throwdown. But he was having a hard time with him regardless, a small Torres. Zab rocked him in there fight, Clottey rocked him in there fight. Margarito hits harder than all of them. Cotto cant KO Marg period. He's gonna have to get on a horse, do you think Cotto will run from an opponent? I give him more credit and respect than that, but that will be his undoing.
Cotto wont be dumb enough to try and bang all night with Tony because that would be futile. Cotto will mix it up enough to grab the win. Cotto will box and yes he will get on his horse. I also believe that Cotto will rope a dope and then try and counter Tony in between those rope a dopes. It should be a great fight. Remember boxing is not always about how hard one can hit but rather how smart one can fight. It's not all physical, 90 percent of the game is mental.

And for you to say that Tony hits harder than Zab or Mosley?

I think all three hit pretty hard but to put Tony above these two, I would have to disagree.

Way off bro. Zab doesn't have the power of a natural WW. In fact his power is over rated to an extent.Apart from the Rivera and Corey stoppages, which other good stopapges does he have? Marg hits far harder than Zab,a natural WW,heavier handed and throws far more.

Mosley doesn't have that great power anymore. Back in the days,in his prime at 147,I'd say he hits harder than Tony. Now,I'm not so sure.

And no offence but if Cotto tries to rop a dope Tony,he's leaving the arena in a stratcher. Most of Tony's stoppages come on the ropes. He's devestating there. And as for Cotto dropping Tony, that's a possibility, but Tony has been down from bodyshots when he was a teenager/growing man fighting big grown men.The last time he was dropped was in 99 v Danny Perez.Cotto could hurt him early but I GUARANTEE that Tony will hurt Cotto at some point.

All in all,it'll be a great fight! The fans' are the winners. This is the REAL SHOWDOWN THIS YEAR. GO STICK YOUR MAYWEATHER V OSCAR AND HATTON 2 UP YOUR ASS Floyd.

And JT,you're insane! Really insane. And tho those that think Cotto is going to outbox Marg easily, let's not get over excited. Marg cuts off the ring.Ask Santos. It takes 1,000 plus punches to beat him, that was just about, ask PW.He can take your best power shots, ask Cintron. So to say that Cotto will merely easily outbox Cotto is too simplistic and does not take into account A WHOLE LOAD of other factors.

Haha why I gotta be a Noob?! I agree with you in terms of him trying to pull some kind of rope a dope stunt but I dont think he'll get on a horse, I think he'll duck and dodge but stay in to get his shots off. I'm sure you would agree that Cotto is a fighter and he also knows his punching strength which he is going to want to get off. But, Cotto has not faced anyone with Marg. tolerance for punishment, he will get his shots in but Marg will walk through them and get his own in. And you yourself have already stated that punching it out would be "futile" for Cotto.

While Marg. has been dropped that was a long time ago and recently no one has even come close to dazing him! unfortunately you know we cant say the same about your boy Cotto.

I agree with most of your last post, and boxing is mental as well as physical and I would surely agree that Cotto had the ring smarts of a PHD, but you have to allow for Marg. to at the very least have a Masters in that dept. as well, that being said he also had more power and a stronger chin.

It truly is a coin flip and will be decided by what Cotto decides to do and what Marg. can do if Cotto decides to box, but I know Cotto is gonna have a hard time just boxing all night and that will be his downfall...i've said that already on this thread but it is the truth
