Actually AA would have won even without the point deductions...

Yea, but the deductions were very harsh.
The headbutt, although was intentional, was not hard and in retaliation to Abraham constent holding. Most times a ref would let this go with a warning. If you watch the fight, even Neuman was letting it go with just a warning until Abraham dramatised an injury and walked to his corner.

The lowblows were questionable and never lower than the beltline. To me, these deductions were absurd. How many times do you watch fights and these guys hit around the belt line? It is part of boxing and they are usually ignored or the ref may ask to keep them up. Miranda never one time hit Abraham in the balls. Usually that is when a penalty may be given (after one or two warnings).
It doesn't matter how hard the headbutt was.
    A foul is a foul.
There should be no leniancy for a deliberate infringement of the rules.

The sport can be dangerous. Breaking the rules makes it even more so.
Should resto have gotten leniancy for removing the padding from his gloves because he wasn't a big hitter?
    I think not.

    Thats actually pretty classless.
I liked Abraham til I saw that.
Sure, threaten his life, but don't bring boxing down

It's no worse then boxer's trash talk, they don't speak the same language so I see no problem. Anyone who watched the first fight know that these guys genuinely dislike each other so I don't really care. Don't think boxing is much about class really.

Very true. Boxing is a brutal sport and the players have the right to act and talk more rude than most other sports.

Ahh come on... Stone Cold Steve Austin did it all the time...I'm doing it right now...its fun...
And Miranda deseverd it...if someone would be standing in front of me and doing the throat slitting gesture I would probably reacted the same...
