I don't know if someone else has already written this because I only had time to read half the responses. I agree with Hitmandonny's approach - Hi and Bye is good to begin with coz it's not overly sleazy I'm trying to get into your pants kinda thing.

Then as time goes on and you find there are a few who do not sticj their noses in the air and say hi back - they are the ones to approach. Chances are they're not all rich and stuck up.

Chances are there are a few girls like you who feel really out of place in such pretentious snobby surroundings and they're the ones you wanna go for. They'll be more fun and less expensive!

Like Andre says don't try to be someone you're not. Maybe girls who are really zoned out actually want to be left alone after a full days work etc and are not in an approachable place mentally. Get a feel for this with the hi and bye thing and just leave the stressed out ones be unless you can open with really humourous lines which make them feel like they can let their hair down around you.

i thank you for your kind words and support. i do agree i tend to approach the girls who appear to be "transplants" meaning they are only living out here to go to school or work, not the ones who are wannabe actresses/models.
