1) Roy isn't as athletic as he used to be: He's made changed his style so that, his lose in reflexes isn't a factor anymore. Regardless he is still a way better athlete than Joe is
2) Roy doesn't have power anymore, he still hits harder than Joe.
3) Roy's hasn't been the same since being knocked out: ROy has come closer and closer to looking like the man who beat Tarver the first fight, sure that wasn't the best Roy ever, but thats good enough to have a chance against Calzaghe.
4) WHo else is there for Calzaghe to beat in order for him to get recognition? Except Dawson who will likely dominate the LHW in the years to come there is nobody worth mentioning in 5 years thats still fighting.
WHat I see as a factor is that
Roy can't move, and Calzaghe punches in bunches, but that being said Calzaghe also boxes so in those moments ROy will be the superior figher which makes it interesting, along with the fact Calzaghe has no defense and Roy throws more punches than Hopkins with the same kind of timing but more speed.
