Holyfield isn't in any top 10 though is he? That sure would be pretty sick, but can't see it.

Skelton is a good guy but he's ALWAYS in boring fights. The last thing Haye needs after all the hype is a terrible ugly start. Plus I doubt the American's would be satisfied with him. And most importantly a Skelton fight would mean dealing with Warren.. which seems the farthest thing from their minds
Most of the heavyweights are ugly fighters, I think Ruiz is looking for a fight as well. He seemed to backtrack in his last statement when he said he'd be fighting someone in the top 10 of the SANCTIONING bodies, rather than a consensus top 10, which opens up the possibility of a Bonin type fight, but like you said the Americans probably wouldn't accept such an opponent.

Haye's an interesting addition to the division, and it's good that he's trying to make a noise and raise his own profile, I just don't like his tone in recent interviews and he could be setting himself for a ridicilous fall.
