Well its reported he broke his ribs during Rambo first blood, Rocky 2 with Carl Weathers, Rocky 3 with Mr.t and Rocky 4 with Lundgren.

Funnily enough Morrisson was the only one not to break his ribs

Lundgren said in an interview he broke Stallones ribs by accident.


As for sparring wioth Duran, anyone could spar him, doesn't mean they'd succeed.

A bit like they did with Highlander II when they released III (which wasn't all that bad) but II has to be one of the worst sequels to get a cinema release of all time

I'd say that although he was the hardest punching actor he was nothing in comparison to Morrisson and even Tarver.

I'd say that although he was the hardest punching actor he was nothing in comparison to Morrisson and even Tarver.

Yeah, but by the time they filmed the last one no way was Stallone letting someone hit him for real. That house of cards would come tumbling right down. If Tarver hit him for real Stallone would need a colostomy bag. And the Morrison fight, if I'm not mistaken, was brief.
