Bill Cosby wants people to move forward and contribute to society instead of rebelling from society by not achieving in school and then pinning the blame on "whitey"....I have nothing to do with any reason why anyone is poor or uneducated.....some people (black, white, whoever) need to get it through their thick fucking skulls that they are in control of their life and they choose where they go...they don't choose where they are brought up but they choose what they make out of it. What Bill Cosby says is good for ANYONE to hear not just blacks....get and education, better yourself, and contribute to society! What the fuck is wrong with that Is it wrong to tell someone to stop acting like a fucking thug? Is it wrong to try and help them see how they can get jobs and provide for....A FAMILY instead of turning to crime or running away from their problems

Jesse Jackson pimps his race out for money....he's a worthless piece of shit and why people follow him is beyond me.

Imus made a mistake in his comments with the nappy headed hoes....it was a slow news week that did him in, but when the Pacman Jones comment surfaced it was taken out of context and everyone wanted his head....too bad they didn't take the time to understand what he was saying but then again that was never the way Jesse or Al opperated.

The sad thing is Jesse will still be on MSNBC, Fox, CBS, NBC, CNN and all those other stations whenever there is some kind of racial issue in America....same with Al. And rumor has it that little blurb about cutting Barack's nuts off was just a little bit of what Fox has of Jackson.
How were Imus' comments about Pacman Jones taken out of context? He provided the context in which they were taken. You already got in hot water for comments you said about black people in the past, then you make another weird comment and when you try to explain it away you only confuse the situation even more. I heard the clips- the extended clips that play both before and after and Imus' explanation makes 0 sense. What, he's not racist because he's hired black people? He's not racist because he allegedly feels the police pick on black people? Please- if the excuse doesn't work for us it doesn't work for Imus, either. Sometimes a dick is a dick and the reason Pacman got arrested all those times was because he's a dick and not because he's black. The police don't follow him around trying to make trouble for him. Imus is a good ol' boy from a good ol' time when saying things like that was no big deal. I'm not going to believe he had some life-changing experience and all of a sudden loves black people. The only person I believe that from is George Wallace and it took someone popping a cap in his ass to change his heart (I don't condone that sort of thing, by the way). I'll acknowledge it's hearsay, but away from microphones, just walking down the hall at work Howard Stern said Imus called a black secretary who worked at the station a nigger. Hell, Imus didn't deny it- he used an excuse, citing those were his heavy boozing days. Sorry, as drunk as I've been I've never gone out and started making anti-Semitic remarks or using slurs against Mexicans. Imus stuck his foot in his mouth again. I don't condone the guy losing his job the first time and don't think he should now. I personally hate that radio doesn't stand up for their talent, albeit I'm using the word 'talent' loosely in reference to Imus, but when they just bend over anytime something that's viewed negatively happens the only ones who suffer are the fans of that particular show. I don't like Imus- therefore I don't listen. If enough people felt that way and enough people just tuned him out and he got fired for poor ratings, that would be fair. But if he has a loyal audience I don't think it's right for someone or a group of someones to put pressure on his sponsors so the guy gets the ax. That's next door neighbor to racketeering in my opinion. But let's call a spade a spade in this case. Imus is a knee-jerk racist and at the very most he deserves his critics.
