Poor old Hatton? Other than the Mayweather fight, name one other fight when he has not had the ref on his side?
Remember Hatton Tszyu, the things that Parris let Hatton get away with are ten times as bad as anything PBF did. If Hatton was so good he would have changed his tactics. Great fighters adjust to what the referee is allowing them or not allowing them to get away with.

O please shut up this crazed shit really gets to me!

Watch Hatton v Mayweather now watch Calzaghe v Hopkins and Klithscko v Thompson, now do one you goon.
What did i say that was crazed? I stated the obvious, u couldnt handle it and started calling me names. If u think what i said was so wrong back it up. Truth is Hatton has spent the majority of his career being allowed to get away with what he wanted and the first tome that didnt happen he struggled.
If Cortez had let Hatton hold and foul which is illegal u would have said he was a good ref.

As Lyle said, Calzaghe would still have won, Wlad would still have won and Pbf would still have beaten poor old Ricky. If anyone is a crazed fanboy it is you.

Seriously if you dont get it this time you will never get it.

It is not a case of you thinking the other guy would have won so it was ok to screw up an event that tens of millions of people watch. That has taken 12wks to promote inc world tours and 12wks for a fighter to get in shape.

Thats like having a handycap it insane. Maybe i will e-mail the NFL and say the bigger teams should have a TD headstart, dont worry its ok because my friend thinks they will win anyway.

As for letting Hatton foul all fight no i wanted infighting Hatton game his only hope for a good fight Cortez took that away which is shit and it would only be a shit ref job if he did the same for Hopkins/Calzaghe but considering he did the total opposite and let the home boy fighter fight his game it is shocking and from that alone Cortez should have retired.

But Ricky was the one not letting his hands go faster...if he got in close and let his hands go then there is no reason for Cortez to break them up.....sorry Cortez did right most of the night.

Hatton fans....there's no telling them anything contrary to what they believe.

Ok bub so why did he let Hopkins blatently hold but not let Hatton fight up close?

Hay i think Hatton would have lost the fight but lets not kid ourselves Cortez bought into team Mayweathers crap.

And honestly it is Mayweather fans that think "Cortez did right most of the night" he was a joke.

sorry lyle but im with darkus on this one all the way

I try my hardest never to let my heart rule my head. The night of the fight regardless of how drunk i was i got home and came close to sobbing my heart out at the fact ricky had been beaten (being full of machismo the only other time ive cried is when england lost to portugal in 2006 or west ham lost the cup final in 2005)

But since then ive watched the fight as a mutual spectator endless times and cortez did a number on hatton big time.

Before evaluating this watch hatton-castillo, the very same ref, the very same hatton gameplan. Cortez is quite happy for the entire fight to allow hatton to work on the inside whenever possible and almost seems to encourage the fight to work at a pace.

Forward it 5months later to hatton-mayweather and you have a complete different story.

Was cortez trigger happy?? was he firmly under the influence of mayweather promotions??

I really dont care.....what i do know though is that cortez single handedly took out hattons gameplan to beat floyd and made the fight mayweathers kind of fight which hatton was never going to be able to live with!!

He took away every chance Ricky had to win that is not fair and again fast foward to the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight. He either took so much flak he let Hopkins cheat not fight on the inside but cheat and hold. Or he favours the home town product its one or the other which alone should say this clown is done. But noooooooo the NSAC gave him Lorenzo vs Soto!! and again in Hamberg he gave the home boy all the decisions.

Watch how many times Thompsons cornerman yell "hes holding for fu*k sake he keep holding" good old Joe he may be looking to build bridges in Germany he would fit right in over there.

If anyone hates Floyd Mayweather Jr. it's ME...but Cortez did the right thing. Ricky wanted to tie Floyd up and push him to the ropes well Wlad did the same thing to Thompson only Cortez broke them once they reached the ropes that's consistent. It's Ricky's own fault he lost that fight if they fought it on Mars with no ref's Floyd would win if they fought it on the bottom of the ocean Floyd would win.....the only thing Ricky could KO Floyd in is in Pub games

    Cortez isn't so bad

I have no option but to neg rep you for that awful statement.

Besides letting Hopkins hold all night against JC and not Hatton hold against PBF (Showing bias there) he has fucked up since December the 8th. Look at JC-Hopkins when BH was on the floor for like 2 mins off an apparent low blow ?? . Hopkins was using dirty tricks all night and yet doesn't get deducted a point thoughout. Hatton hits Floyd when Floyd turns his back and Hatton missed with the punch. Floyd exaggerated the situation by hurling half his body through the middle ropes and then hatton gets a deduction Take a look that awful DQ decision he gave out the other week. I've heard many people baging on about how awful Cortez is, saying he isn't so bad must be a joke. The guy is way past it and should fuck off out the game before he fucks up more big fights.

GET OVER IT....Hatton lost and he was always going to lose....Hopkins lost and he was always going to lose.

It's not that Ricky sucks it's not that Hopkins was given a pass....if ANY ref is in the ring you're apt to get some calls wrong Cortez isn't a robot! But he's also not Randy Nueman or Roger Tilleman
