I agree with you totally i think Miguel Cotto is far surperior fighter but Antonio Margarito is just a terrible style match up for him he can take Miguel Cotto's punches and keep coming which no one else can at Welterweight in my opinion........

He's not a horrible boxer, he does some things pretty well but he doesn't look pretty in there so a lot of people have written him off. I didn't think he'd win and I was slightly upset that he did cause I was rooting for Cotto but at least he finally gets his due. All those silly arguments with Floyd fans a couple years ago who hated him simply cause he wanted to fight Floyd. Taeth I could be wrong but I think it was you who I had an argument with a while ago because you thought Baldomir was as good as Margarito, can we accept that Tony's on a little different level than that now?

All that being said I do agree with the line of thinking that Cotto's more of a handful for Floyd. Still he's just a beast, its not all about "skill" and speed, I was wrong thinking Cotto's skill would win out.

I still think Baldomir should get a little more respect, I mean he had a little better boxing ability then Margarito in terms of he was able to counter Judah frequently, and he had a little better timing then Margarito, but I agree as a whole package he isn't as good as Margarito who throws more punches and lands harder, but it would be the same sort of fight with Mayweather against Margarito as his fihgt with Baldomir was.

YOu are actually going to join a boxing website and talk shit about Margarito and then when Margarito whips on your superior boxing skilled Cotto, you are going to say that Baldomir should get more credit Baldomir is a poor poor mans Margarito.

I agree, all the cotto fans Friday weren't his fans Saturday night. I think he was overhyped and it was shown Saturday night. At the same time stick with your fighters. Damn ban wagon jumpers. By the way i agree Margarito can't box but, i rather be in his position than a fighter than Cotto or that can box. You guys are just haters Cotto lost get over it!
