They only fight Gatti would have had a chance with would have been Mosley simply because Shane didn't have much KO power at 140 and above. All those other guys would have killed him.
Oops
Prime Gatti P4P would have done fine against a Hatton or Kats. Pryor's another story. He'd be KOd in the late middle rounds but entertaining as hell. Paz Gatti would be a slugfest to the end with the winner up in the air.

Hatton (pre tszyu) - Gatti would have been very entertaining. Hatton would have battered him imo, but still....

i always wanted to see Gatti/Cotto, especially when Gatti came off his impressive win against the then undefeated Gianluca Branco, and while Cotto had still yet to really prove himself, would have been a good fight IMO

You know whenever I think of Gatti and who he would have made great fights with, I think of Vinny Pazienza first and then Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini.
All those guys are really of the same mentality. I think Paz had the absolute most guts though. With Mancini a close second. Though Mancini was a better fighter than Gatti and Paz, honestly. I mean look at his fight with the Great Alexis Arguello.
Gatti vs. Pazienza or Gatti vs. Mancini would have been an absolute fight to the finish!
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Gatti would pair up well with the following:
Ricky Hatton
Diego Corrales
Acelino Frietas
Jose Luis Castillo
He wouldn't win any of those fights but it would be fun to watch
Gatti-Augustus would have been a classic
