i always wanted to see Gatti/Cotto, especially when Gatti came off his impressive win against the then undefeated Gianluca Branco, and while Cotto had still yet to really prove himself, would have been a good fight IMO

True... true... I'm glad Gatti's gone... Loved watching him fight. Hated his decline but it's part of sports I guess...
Cotto's a beast. He brilliantly boxed in the early going of he Tony fight. He really is gifted.

Think cotto would of eaten him if both were at heir best, Kostya too, he was tailor made for Kostya more than anyone. Maybe one with Urkal would have turned into a great war. Correct me if they did fight.. I cant remember.

I'm not sure about that. Branco is nothing special. At the time, 2004, Cotto was already thoroughly beating guys like Pinto, Maussa, Sosa, N'Dou, and he beat Chop-Chop in 2005.At that point Gatti would have beat him...
Prime Gatti at 135 against Juan Diaz...that would be a fight.
