Calzaghe will walk to a points decision 118-110
C'mon Roy turn back the clock and do a number on this PRICK!
Calzaghe is not a light heavyweight.
He looks smooth at Super Middle and he's not particularly tall or broad. When fighters get old and rich they lack the motivation to get down to their true genetic weight and this could be Calzaghe's undoing.
On a side note, he's lost 80% of any travelling armchair fans by delaying the event and competing with Hatton. Many have already booked for Vegas now and that will impact his turnout i believe.
Not that this will have any impact on Joe. Like his dad recently said, we dont care what the public want - we want to get paid !!
Therefore i hope it fails on every level
Please GOD let Roy win this and go out on top.
Is this fight at super middleweight? Roy was weighing close to that his last fight
Jones with either a late stoppage or UD
Im surprised that a significant number think this incarnation of Jones has enough to beat Joe. Jones will not beat Calzaghe by throwing 400 punches a fight and sitting on the ropes.
Calzaghe is going to outhustle him.
I think you are right about the outhustle part, I think Jones is going to have pull a Rocky and just outpower Calzaghe all night. I think this is really a pick em fight honestly, I hope it's one last great performance for both and that it ends up being close and interesting.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
.
Im looking forward to this fight alot. I think, I THINK, I theeenk Joe C's attack and workrate are enough to win the fight.
And I consider myself a Calzaghe fan.
But I gotta tell you, for some reason, Im pulling for Roy to win this one. I think he certainly has the potential to. Which Roy shows up?
I know alot of people who think Jones will beat Joe and Im begining to question my own judgement cuz ever since it was being talked of I never once considered the possibility of a Jones win.
I dont see how Joe can lose. We know what Jones has left. It will have to be a really poor Joe for this to be a close fight
