Defeating Oscar (tho a very difficult task for PAC) would give PAC more leverage in taking remaining bigger fights ahead.
I don't think he needs any more leverage. The way he did a number on Diaz and with his rep he could get a good deal against any lightweight or super feather. And if he cleans up at 135 he would have a good chance at 140 then
When I stated "remaining bigger fights", I mean against Hatton and probably PBF...
IF (big if) PAC can defeat DelaHoya in a more convincing way than what PBF did to Oscar, then PAC will have some leverage in calling out PBF from retirement and could probably install him as favorite against Hatton...
