You can associate "greed and money" on Oscar but not on Pacquiao. Do you think money is the prime motivating factor why Pacquiao is calling out and challenging Oscar? I don't think so coz a win over Oscar will elevate Pacquiao's boxing legacy in an all time high.

Defeating Oscar (tho a very difficult task for PAC) would give PAC more leverage in taking remaining bigger fights ahead.
I don't think he needs any more leverage. The way he did a number on Diaz and with his rep he could get a good deal against any lightweight or super feather. And if he cleans up at 135 he would have a good chance at 140 then
When I stated "remaining bigger fights", I mean against Hatton and probably PBF...

IF (big if) PAC can defeat DelaHoya in a more convincing way than what PBF did to Oscar, then PAC will have some leverage in calling out PBF from retirement and could probably install him as favorite against Hatton...

If he did well against Casamayor, Campbell etc then and maybe even now I think he would have a chance against Hatton but it would be one tough fight.

As for PBF, he wouldn't stand a chance

Regarding gloves, the rule says it's either both of them will wear 10 oz. or 8 oz. gloves. Other than that will not be sanctioned for it's against the rules.

    Hmmnn both conditions favors DelaHoya...

What Team PAC wants is 8 oz. gloves on PAC and 10 oz. gloves on DelaHoya which is against the rules...

Let's see if Oscar will give in to PAC's demands and then it's clear that Oscar really wanted this fight very badly...
