For me she spins to the left which I presume is counter clockwise.
She doesn't move the other way at all for me which confirms to me that my brain is correct, operating purely out of logic and pattern recognition and not influenced by fanciful imagination rules or simple belief.
That is amazing who comes up with these things! i got used to looking elsewhere so it would change then eventually got her to wave her foot one way then the other back and forwards three times.(It is us and not it).![]()
Wow! I thought it was BS for a second, I see it's going clockwise plain and simple. Then I start to try to make it turn counterclockwise and focussing on the foot and it seemed to change directions.
This strikes me of more of an optical illusion moreso than right brain vs. left brain perception. It's which way you make your eyes move, how they follow that creates the clockwise/counter-clockwise effect.
Still-- it amuses me to no end, it's fun making it go both ways.![]()

If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
I was staring at the picture and it had never when the other way for me, only clockwise. While I was staring at it my girlfriend asked me where I stored some of her Elfquest comic books and suddenly the image started turning counter clockwise for the first time.
SO I asked my girl which way the image was spinning and she said clockwise even though it was still counter clockwise for me.
