This is what sparked that btw. Notice how he slams Bolt for being selfless and not running a 9.50 (which is ridiculous, he wouldn't have run that) yet ignores the fact that Bolt said the WR didn't matter to him and he just wanted to win which was the source of his excitement. So he's selfish for running against his competitors and not himself, OK, good logic. Then of course the mandatory praise of the British gold medalist kicks in just the third paragraph and the true intentions of the piece are revealed, to prop British athletes above all others. How boring.
