LOL, I'm a huge Pav fan! He's my profile pic.

I believe him to quickly becoming the centerpiece of American boxing but that's not to say I won't give my oppinion otherwise.

Kelly's not a world beater or ender.

Well i think Pavlik beating Taylor is better then anything Kessler has done. Lets not for get the man who out classed Kessler had a way more difficult time then Taylor did with Hopkins and that was a older version of Hopkins. Also look at what Kessler been up not much of anything so i dont think much of him

Mmmm... Can't say you're out of the ballpark at all.

I will say that had Kess been able to keep his foot on the peddle and stayed focused he could have mad it pretty controversial.

I know we could say "what if" to any fight...

...but regardless, I had Kess and Joe pretty much even going into the 6th.

Joe C showed his class in that fight totally blowing up his spot down the stretch. His stamina has always impressed the hell out of me.

...especially the Lacy fight... Never let up.

When a fighter comes of a defeat they usually take a step back and come back slowly unless they go staright back into a rematch, i respect your opinion and of course Pavlik knocking out the then Middleweight champion is better than anything Kessler has done in terms of victorys.

You say that Calzaghe had alot more trouble than Taylor did?? How exactly i think you will find alot more people thought Hopkins beat Taylor than beating Calzaghe.

This is a great point... I thought that Hop won the first outing against Taylor... By an extremely thin margin but I thought he pulled it out.

I def had Joe beating Hop. Not by a whole lot but nontheless...

    Good point, Skel

Well to me alot of people underate Taylor because of the people he faced. Look Taylor beats Hopkins twice i thought he did enough for the wins but with Hopkins its always a close fight going eithe way. Then he fights Winky i had no problem with the draw close fight yet again its Winky another one to look good against is almost it not going to happen. Then the same goes with Spinks. Then he choose to fight Pavlik twice which he did not have to do and alot of people would not have.

I totally agree Pride, great entertaining fighter, i like the guy. I got in on this debate with the thread starter because he says Kessler hasnt got the experience of Pavlik? Which i just thought was a bizzare statement.
