Mosley has become to dependant on power. He seems to still have his boxing skills. But doesn't use them as much. He'll rather trade instead. I agree it's time for him to go. Margarito would knock him out if they fight

Mosley looked his age tonight![]()
Whilst Mosley did'nt look his prime last night, he certainly isn't as bad as some boxers who carried on too long.
I still think its time for him to retire, although if he would have produced a big display last night then one final big fight would have been worth taking.
Can't see him getting it though
He fought the same/ similar fight against Cotto following him and looking for the big punch whilst being mostly ineffective.
When has Shane ever been fantatsic above Welter?
Light Middle is not his weight, I'll bet he looks better in a Welter fight.
Guys take it easy. Shane was originally a lightweight and at this stage of his career he beats a Light Middle, not tooooooo shabby.

Good post
Before we all write off Shane Mosley lets remember that at 154 the only time hes looked good was against Vargas in the rematch
Styles make fights and Shane has always struggled to settle into his boxing after a poor start like against Cruz and Wright 1 . Maoyorgas style is ugly and Shane was never gona shine against him unless he had the power to hurt him early like Tito and Oscar . Vernon lacked that 1 shot power and he failed to look good vs Mayorga too .
I say this is nothing new with Shane. It was a poor performance but againsy a style that allows him to box, as we saw vs Collazo he can look sweet as sugar . Last night he went for 1 shot fire power and it almost backfired but the end result was Mosley by impressive K.O.
Stlyes this was never going to be easy for Shane, but what a way to close the Show.![]()
