I think Thaxton deserves his shot too after so long - and I haved to say I think Thaxton will do him.

As for a Prescott rematch - if he keeps winning he will have to face him at some stage !

Anyone know if Presott has a fight lined up yet - I will be keeping an eye on his career now

Warren will not put Khan in with Thaxton. After being knocked out in his last fight it would be suicidal to put him in with a guy who can hit like Jonathan.

Khan will be put in with somone with a record that looks good on paper but he will be a none puncher. People will tune in too see if Khan is gun shy. He won't be. He'll be cautious and it will take a few fights for hin to get his full confidence back. If Khan is schooled right he will win a rematch down the line with Prescott. Just like Nigel Benn after Michael Watson he will mature and come back stronger.
Amir Khan is nothing like Benn , he doesnt have big ko power , Nigel used to get wobbled and would come blazing back , Khan has a glass jaw.
Khan is going nowhere , watch this space/

I'm not convinced Khan has a glass jaw anymore than Benn did. Early in his career Benn had one game plan which was to take out his opponent - he left his chin out to dry going it or ran out of steam. Khan against Prescott and agianst Gomez for that matter neglected his boxing and his defence and got caught. It makes little difference how good your chin is if your defence is a pile of crap and a decent puncher catches you right you're going in trouble.

The reference I made between Benn and Khan had nothing to do with their power - Benn's power was awesome and Khan is not in his class. The similarity I'm hoping will be there is that Khan will learn from his first loss and make the adjustments needed to comeback a better fighter - just like Nige did after losing to Watson.

Khan was floored by Willie Limond a great little fighter but one who has never been noted for his knock-out punching power. That along with Khan's latest trip to the canvas suggests his chin isn't the strongest. I would like to see Khan do well for the sake of British boxing......But that chin will always be his Achilles heel in my opinion.

Limond is not and never will be GREAT , he is an honest domestic fighter at best , and Khan does have a glass jaw.

Not convinced Khan has a glass jaw... he certainly has a big heart no matter what else he may be lacking. Apart from Prescott he has always fought back to win when hurt. Very few fighters can take a full on shot and not be hurt. Clever fighters learn to block or move to take the sting out of a punch. Khan's problems are that he has not progressed enough from the amateur style and is under so much pressure to get to a certain level straight away that he has neglected his defence to do it.

People wrote of Nigel Benn when he got KO'd by Watson saying he had a glass jaw but he learnt and improved. Khan does not have the blessing of the power that Nigel had instead he needs to build on what he is blessed with... his speed and boxing ability.

Write of Khan as a glass jawed fighter at your peril. If he applies himself and learns the pro trade properly there's no reason why he can't achieve a lot in this game.

Your entitled to your opinion 'Dark Lord' Al, to me Willie is a great little fighter....I have never boxed a round in my life though, so what do I know... Your probably a world champ or something and can voice your opinion in the knowledge you have been there and done that.
