Calzaghe was avoiding Pavlik according to most on here myself included and Pavlik was the man to beat Calzaghe. Pavlik beat a slick boxer in Jermain Taylor twice he demolished Edison Miranda he was on great form he was going to fight Hopkins he was going to KO him in most people's opinions or at least UD12. Hopkins puts on a masterclass makes Pavlik fight his fight constantly changing his angles putting shots together in 3's and 4's. But now Hopkins as beat him Pavlik is one dimensional he is overrated only fights in straight lines even though he cut the ring off very well in many of his other fights some of you guys make me laugh your opinions change in a heart beat. Rather than giving Hopkins the respect he deserves for 1. taking this fight in the first place and 2. beating this kid easy. But no Hopkins doesn't get the respect now it Calzaghe would have beat him easy and it makes Calzaghe's win look even better over Hopkins HOW? he only beat him on a debatable SD12 however you look at it.

Vernon beats Mosely, Tarver beats Roy, etc etc.

Does that mean Tarver is a God now for Beating Roy when all those
other guys couldn't? No. So I don't see why suddenly when Bhop does something
then all credit is given to the guy who beat HIM. I think this board just has far too many Calzaghe fanboys.
