He looks awkward and too tight sometimes, not pretty to watch either, but he gets that added power by turning on his own centerline and striking on the move with heaps of weight transferance into his shots which seems to suit his weird body hang.
So really for his style that is good footwork and great timing ,he has more than a punchers chance every time. It'll take a tough smart fighter to be able to stay clear headed enough to find the spaces to catch him clean as he is coming in or have the counter moves down to catch him on the end of his.
Like what Donaire did to Vic (as you can see in the video posted by Mr. Ouma above)...
.
Time really does stand still whoever you are and when ever you get caught loading up like that.

All Vics intentions were on his left hand hitting home then,ko's are always more devastating when they come from a blind side.

Vic sure is open to some of them too.
Like Amat says; timed from the outside is the easier key to his style.
I tend to agree cause quite often on the inside with his turning style you can either run into one of his power shots; or your target area on him has moved off the centerline and you glance one andhe'll catch you comming back so there's two added maybes when in closer with his weird style.
If its to be done to Vic on the inside I think your going to have to move as he moves and throw one from where you know he will finally face, catch him on the end of one of his own swivels.
