It's called "hyping a fight" bro. It's his very own fighter, how in the world would someone say something negative about his very own fighter? It just doesn't make sense. So Freddie Roach can go ahead and say his hands end up all numb after working with Pac, sure, let's sell the fight!
Wouldn’t all Mike Tyson trainers say the same? Here we have a heavyweight with dynamite in his punches and I don't remember hearing trainers cry like Freddie Roach because Tyson was hitting those mitts with all his might or are you going to tell me Pac hits harder than Tyson?
In fact some might recall, Freddie has actually held the mitts for Tyson on a training camp... He said that he had some serious power, BUT, he never reported having the mitts knocked completely off his hands... So i'm with Saddoboxer. That not only proves Pac's "knocking-mitts-off-the-hands-power" is more than Oscars, but possibly more than Tyson's as well..

    Arguements over..

No my trainers name is Jason of course he is nowhere near 50 years old and doesn't have Parkinson's disease like Roach does either.
Did your trainer Jason was also able to hold the mitts for Hoya?
    .

Dude have you ever hit mitts before? It's actually very common for them to come off. Do you even realize how ridiculous your statements are?
Do you think is Roach is going to say "ODLH is much stronger than PAC, I expect the guy who is currently responsible for my salary to get knocked the fuck out."?

    Oscar send note to Manny!
Oscar De La Hoya sent a personal message to Manny Pacquiao this week. While autographing boxing gloves for the 'Dream Match' promotion, Pacman rooted deep into a large cardboard box and spotted a red glove signed in black sharpie by Oscar.

    MANNY

I AM GOING TO KNOCK YOU OUT!

    OSCAR

Oscar added a little smiley face.

Pacquiao looked at it, laughed and shrugged it off. "He is a great fighter, the Golden Boy," said Pacquiao. "I have been watching him since he won the gold medal at the Olympic Games. He has beaten very famous fighters. That's why defeating him will be very special and important for everyone in the Philippines."

Are you aware that Roach said, he will not ask for any trainer's fee if PAC loses to Hoya?

Zero, nada, zip, nil ... trainer's fee to Roach if PAC will lose this fight...

congrats Sadddoboxer for doing well with your arguments. whew, I'm giving you the title for being the number 1 fan of Manny Pacquaio.

Lefty is seriously ill and can't make sane arguments that's why he resorts to neg reps.

Killersheep, positive reps for keeping your cool.

Want to get out of the heat? Go ahead the door is wide open...

I'm just responding to your previous statement about trainer's salary...

Of course, flying mitts is just an illustration... Numbed, aching and injured hands and body of the trainer are the true manifestations of the boxer's power as assessed by the trainer...

And also part of Parkinsons. So you've never hit the mitts?

Isn't it Roach already has Parkinsons when he trained Hoya? ... It's not an issue...

Are you saying that Parkinson's isn't a degenerative disease that gets progressively worse over time?

If it's your opinion that Roach said these things ("PAC hits much harder than Hoya") because of his deteriorating Parkinsons disease then I respect that... That's your own personal opinion...

We will see on December 6 ...

Let's look at the facts then

Roach's Parkinsons is worse than last year, it's the way the disease works. Because of this the impact of PAC's punches will feel much greater than in the past.

Roach's salary IS contingent on PAC so to say anything that would give PAC doubt would endanger his own money.

Mitts flying off hands are a very common occurance and should not be considered a indicator of power.

    Care to add anything?

    1) Probably...

    2) Roach already said he won't have any salary for this fight if PAC loses...

    3) I already mentioned the actual indications of boxers' power in the perspective of the trainer (see my previous post)
