When you look at the big names at welter right now.. williams/clottey/margarito/cotto/mosley

even if floyd beat one of those guys, something will be said.. so for everyone who is saying that he's afraid of these guys, if he won, this is what will be said:

Mosley: he was past his best as Cotto showed us

Margarito: he wasn't nearly as skilled to beat mayweather and floyd outclassed him like he "should have"

Clottey: overrated and lost to Margarito, big deal

That leaves us with Williams and Cotto.. clearly you can say, williams lost to quintana, and cotto lost to margarito so big deal that floyd beat them, but these are the two guys who are just about in their prime and are his best contenders right now.. So if he came back, that's who i'd like him to fight..

You can relate hindsight excuses to nearly any big fight if you split hairs enough. We see it alot after big fights.Personally,If Mayweather (Their I go with the if's) came back and mopped the deck With Margarito,Williams etc.I'd have nothing but much deserved praise for him.But to get into the ring with some of the ones mentioned would certainly be a step in the right direction for over all career Imo...insted of going backwards and squaring off with a guy in Hatton who he has already KO'd.

-If Floyd fights Hatton or Oscar again I would be 100% frustrated at him.
-Hatton can't beat Floyd, IN ANY WEIGHT! Having Mayweather Sr. in his corner will not make a difference.
-If Floyd beat Williams, Cotto, or Margarito I would give him FULL credit. If he beats Oscar or Hatton again, IT MEANS NOTHING! I just want him fighting welterweights not big names in other weight classes.
