I think Iran was an excellent fighter. His record is misleading. KOed Hearns twice. I mean, that is something isn't it? Duran spoiled him badly at SMW. ended his otherwise colorful career. How the hell did he (Barkley) make it all the way up to HW? What a freak.

The wins over a past his best and past his best weight Hearns were the highlight of Barkley's career....The only title fights he was successful in were against Hearns

Iran Barkley KOED Hearns once , then beat him on points , also he KOED Darrin Van Horne in a title fight. Iran was a good fighter.

I always felt his whole career was based on his wins over Tommy...If he never fought Hearns there is a chance Barkley would hardly be mentioned at all.....

There have been worse champion I agree But it is just IMO on him.....Worst title holder ever not by far...just one that came to mind quickly

Floyd Patterson i thought he was terrible

Floyd was a great fighter....If there was a CW division beck then he would have even had a better legacy...Floyd was outsized often but he could fight and had heart....

He'd beat all of those with his eyes closed.

If you are going to use the word stupidity when refering to someones make sure you do not use it in a sentence typed out like

#4 I personally knew not only Floyd since I was around 6...I also knew Cus from the amatuers when Mike was coming up....Tysons first Promoter was my coach's wife

Please do not try to school me on anything having to do with Patterson, D'Amato, the peek a boo style or Tyson....

I have not read or seen their stuff on TV I have actually been in the gym while it was being taught..
