Cotto took a beating for however many rounds some people would say 2 rounds other would say from round 6 on that kinda beating stays with a boxer, Cotto's tough but he met his superior in heart, guts, stamina, and determination. It was very clear in between some of the rounds that cotto looked maybe not scarred but he had the look of WTF did i just run into. i support cotto all the way but he got owned ive said it before and ill say it again. If there a rematch i would not be surprised to see some mental effects from the first fight. He knows MArgo has his number.
    Strong Post.

To get back to the point of the post: did HBO treat PBF and Dawson the same way they have treated Margarito?
    1. I can't recall: did Kellerman ask PBF about fighting Margarito after he beat Oscar or after he beat Hatton? I know at the time Margarito was calling PBF out.
    2. Did Kellerman ask BCD after he beat Tarver about giving Glen Johnson a rematch because BCD nearly lost to Johnson? If anyone is deserving of a rematch, it is Glen Johnson of course.

Chad Dawson vs Tarver wasn't on HBO it was a showcase or whatever the one with Al is. So no he wasn't asked that by Kellerman because he wans't there.

Also it was Larry Merchant that talked to Mayweather, Kellerman was way up high with Lennox Lewis, and he was the only one that actually saw the fight for how it was.

Also Malignaggi to the post above wasn't destroyed by Cotto, it was a close fight, and Paulie fought very well for most of the later rounds.
Never said Cotto dominated Maglinaggi, I said he rearranges them, meaning he rearranged his face...if you dont think that what Cotto did to Maglinaggi was destruction than you must be get into tough man contests or have some kind of Massochist streaks because that was a beating, then again you think Cotto was into the fight with Margo till the 11th. He was responding and kept going until the 11th but he was getting punished from the 8 or 9th on.

WTF are you talking about? Rearranged face doesn't mean the fight isn't close, a fight is judged by who wins what rounds, and rewatch teh cotto-Paulie fight because even though Paulie's jaw looks dislocated he is the one landing combinations, he is outjabbing COtto down the stretch, cotto looked really good early on, then as the fatigue likely from weigh loss kicked in, he was getting tied up a lot by Paulie, and he wasn't effective. IT was a close fight. Cotto won by 3 or 4 rounds, but likely two of those rounds he won were pretty competitive. That means out of 12 rounds about 8 or 9 of them were relatively competitive, that is a close fight.

Also Margarito won rounds 7,8,10,11 but watch those rounds again.

The 9th round went to Cotto, the 10th round was really close until at the very end Margarito was able to punish Cotto who was on the ropes, and dropped his hands to catch a right hand, but besides that it was a toss up round where both of them landed big punches.

Man I dont know what you are smoking...but I want some!!! First off I never said Paulie didnt make a competitive fight I said Cotto rearranges faces just like he rearranged Paulies' and the whole point to that was that Margarito made a guy who rearranges faces submit to him (take knees) that is worst then getting caught by a pop shot or something you never saw coming. You are essetially giving in to the other guys will.

Ok you yourself now state that Margarito 7,8,10,11 thats exactly what said.
