Ok maybe the fist shake was uncalled for...

Still I could google up a ton of excuses for why dudes lost. Did you know Dick Saddler poisoned George Foreman with "medicine-tasting" water before his fight with Muhammad Ali? Wlad was also poisoned before Brewster fight. I think Tarver claimed to be poisoned before his fight with Bhop too.

No one in the history of boxing ever lost just because their opponent was better that night, it was always something else

Don't get me wrong, if Pac pulls a win out I would love it, I just don't see it happening. I think hes way too small and Drag la Hoya knows it. I think wearing panties has made DLH soft.

Looks like the punch landed right on Pac's awesome mustache to me!

But maybe his mustache was a lot thinner back then. His thicker mustache of today may allow him to take DLH's punches

OKay. Watch again the whole fight. You'll know what I mean. That fight had been posted here so many times. Most of us here (old timers) have studied and watched that fight carefully.

I don't need to be debating with you. If you don't believe then let it be. I'm suggesting though that you watch those fights (including with the Thai) carefully and you'll know that I'm not telling you fabricated stories.

If you know a professional boxing analyst, you can ask him about it.

I stand with my conviction and analysis that Pac has never been KOed through his chin.Of course, he could be KOed this time against DLH.....

Why can't you just explain it to me bro? I'm not callin you a liar, I'm just saying you're telling me he never got KO'd because of his chin and I'm watching a video where he takes a punch to his chin and goes unconscious. Its confusing me

And not to try to sound like a jerk, but it doesn't help your credibilty that you have a Pac GIF in your sig! I think maybe you are grasping at straws!

But why argue about a fight thats happening tonight anyway? For the record I hope YOU are right and Pac pulls it out... I just really don't see it happening

You are saying it was a shot to the chin? It was a low blow followed by a right hook but the annoucers are yelling body punch, body punch but I saw it as a low blow.

To be honest this may cause some controversy, but i've seen alot of Manny Pacquiao fights. And i don't think Manny Pacquiao has an iron chin by any means, he's been stunned quite alot in his career by lesser fighter's. But i think he has excellent recovery powers, and thats what has saved him quite a few times.

This lead me to conclude that DLH won't be able to KO Pac that easily. Given that DLH won't be able to KO Pac then it's probable that Pac can win this fight via decision because of his speed.
ummm unlike most fighters welterweight and up, Oscar sets up his shots with flurries to the body, like he did against Fernando Vargas, watch the huge flurry in the 12th round against Quartey and you'll see plenty of flush, hard, left hooks to the body, so i think that there is plenty of chances for DLH to get the KO, especially if Pacquiao is willing to trade with him, both Morales (in both the first and early in the second fight) and Marquez, were able to rock Pacquiao with straight rights to the chin, most notabley Marquez in about the 6th round of the first fight, it's true that Pacquiao wasn't stunned badly enough to say that he was out on his feet or anything, but the real question in this fight isn't can Oscar handle Pacquiao's speed (cause you have no idea how his speed is at 147), but rather, can Pacquiao handle De La Hoya's power

That theory was proven false when Kimbo got caught, he should've had an airbag on his chin.

Perhaps Manny's 'stach is kindred with the fighting spirit of Hands of Stone, let's hope that he never says "sobra", that's tagalog for enough.

That and his ability to clinch. I've seen that too. I don't think that his recuperating power would be up to par if his conditioning wasn't there. I think that Delahoya can surely stun Pacquiao, but judging from Oscar's last performances I don't see Pacquiao walking into a train tonight.

LOL. I have just said that it was because of weight issue. TrainerMonkey would agree with me about that.

He lost his belt before the fight happened and hewas really dehydrated against that Thai. Besides he was not Koed because of his chin. He was KOed because of body shots.
Actually I havent seen the fight, but if he was weight drained,he was screwed, so I can agree with that.
All manufacturers of sauna suits should be marched out and shot.
Its part of why Im such a Nazi about diet, you need to be at weight before the fight, not try to make weight at the last minute. Even if you make weight your totally drained.
That being said,I still say if your a Pac fan,Id worry about this fight.Whatever stops DLH has left to pull,he's pulling them out for this fight.

Well he's getting KOed by DLH. Even if DLH wins every round and gets decision, if he doesn't get the Ko it's a loss for him.

Oscar hits harder than the following guys

Toreencampo - Knocked out Pac in 3

Marquez - Wobbled Pac twice in the 2nd fight

Barrera - Had Pac on the floor in the first round

Larios - Hurt Pac in round 3

Singursat - Knocke dPac out in 3

Logic would suggest that Oscar has the power to do a job on Pac .
