I was pleased Froch won but I'm going to be honest...

He seemed nervous and I think that slowed him uo. At times he seemed to be fighting very stiff and straight up with little defence. If he had been facing a top puncher he would have lost (no matter how good his chin is... and I think it's very good). He was forced to punch down a lot because Pascal continually ducking below the waistline. Uppercuts would have beena useful weapon but these were only used rarely and often as lead single shots.

Froch showed a lot of heart but if Pascal (who says he had modeled himself on RJJ) had been 60% of what RJJ was then he would have won.

Froch will struggle against fast agile opponents....

You could tell that both fighters especially Froch were nervous before and during the first 3 or four rounds. You could see how tense their both were as their were throw punches.Cant blame them really, with them having undefeated record each!Froch started to ease and relax in the 5th!

He has always fought like this, thats what I mean when I say hes slow footed, often left out of position by his opponents, hes posing and left looking at thin air then loads a big shot that misses wildly while he pulls his witch face.

Its just that against someone who wasnt smaller and past it, it was highlighted.

Joe would make it look like the Lacy fight with the amount of shots hed land.

Great scrap, only problem was it clashed with the Audley fight

I'd prefer to see Froch use his jab in an orthadox manner, its hit or miss with that flick from the waist, looks tired too. Great chin shown by both, thought Pascal was there for the taking at times but he dug in well. Froch deffo looked hurt at times too. Think someone like Calzaghe or Kessler would make both look pretty ordinary to be honest.

Great win though, well done Froch.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
