Aside from there being no proof that carbon offsets actually work...I guess we do agree. I still think carbon offsets are the equivilent to paying for indulgences and that is unfair for the people who are not wealthy.

Sure I think we should try and protect the environment but by PROVEN methods and not some carbon offset scam

As is often the case, I'm not quite sure what you are ranting about, but isn't, say, planting a tree a pretty proven way of helping the environment?
