Class move Bilbo.Have the utmost respect for you Mick and you have forged some serious miles and expanded this great place with some genuine real knowledge. You clearly have your heart in it and take it from an oldie who has probally hit his peak as a boxing fan lol....you have quality depth and dedication unsurpassed.Though you do kill me with the nicknames, everyone here can and should learn from you.The walking breathing almanac with the killer shades
Some Big boots ,red stilettos to fill with Wacko. But you should shoulder it with pride,The two of you are the best and hopefully soon Wacko will come back to the flock.....saw him last night ya know. There are certain Pillars here to be acknowledged and respected. You Sir are standing at the very top!!Congrats bud!
Congrats Mick. Much deserved. A great poster with superb knowledge of the fight game and has provided some much needed humour around here.
Still hate you for being at Castillo-Corrales though...I couldn't be more jealous.
Forgetting the post count nonsense because thats all it is nonsense, a number of posts don't determine a quality poster. But Roberto is a quality poster forgetting how many posts he has got.
We've had our ups/downs but i think your good people Roberto and i mean that. You've gave me some helpful advice more than once about life, especially about the father thing. And you've also taught me alot about boxing.
So i thank you for that and as i've said from day one, your one of the best posters on here IMO. And one of the most knowledgable posters here end of.
I will be leaving here for awhile quite soon but when i leave your one of the people on here, that i will remember the most. I haven't actually talked to you in awhile so hopefully we can have a good old debate soon.

Just realized this on the title...
The greatest Saddonian... Nah man those are some big words there's been plenty and there is still plenty of great posters here today their is no great one...
I've learn a lot from you guys day in and day out.
Want to give Mick a shout out, as it was one of his posts that first brought me to Saddo's after I googled the net in anger after the Bute-Andrade fight & the words that I put in (something along the lines of Cheat Andrade Bude Marlon Wright Prick) came up with a similarly worded post of Mick's that pretty much summed up how I felt.
This introduced me to the best boxing forum on the web, as before this I just made occasional comments on the setantasports boxing page. Apart from nutters like Moono & the people who seem to come on only to talk about how great their favourite fighter is, I've learnt a lot and enjoyed debating with everyone on here, & Mick in particular has created posts about boxers I'd never heard of & made me go find out more. So glasses raised to you Mick![]()
Thanks Daxx, I appreaciate the words and you know the feelings mutual man def. someone whom I've learned a lot from.
Spicoli from what I deciphered from your post.
I appreciate the encouragement and it means a lot.
The nicknames I'm sorry man, sometimes it's just faster to post the nickname instead of the whole name. I've cleaned it up cause I got a PM asking me who "El Vita" is and who "El Radar" is so now I add the last name to make it a bit more clear...
I'll try my best to use names more.
No shit, chances are his stilettos were clear with a gold fish in them.
Yeah, I saw him on here on Friday.
Thanks bzkfn I appreciate the words...
Sorry about JLC-Chico I, it was just luck.
I agree ICB.
Well it was 1 down the rest were up.
But stuff like that is bound to happen, we all have different views and we all have opinions.
We talked and you explained to me what was going on with you at that time and I understand.
About the advice man, anytime ICB you want to chat or you have something on your mind don't hesitate to send me PM, I'm always open for a talk with you.
Wish you lots of luck and sucess in life ICB with whatever you do.
Pick the topic and let's do it man, you know how to make the threads pick up steam...![]()
Wack was a funny cat. Me and him were cool. And he knew his Boxing. But as much as he knew, he wasn't on Mick's level knowledge wise. Few are. The mans quality and quantity.
congrats mick.![]()
Don't under sell yourself Mick!!!
You deserve these props fella..
One of the few US friends on Saddo's with an English sense of humour and he's made me laugh so many times on here.
I remember we did a thread a few years ago about "lookalikes" and his Larry Merchant - Dash from the Incredibles had me fucking pissing myself hahahahaha
Knowledgable and Staunch to his roots with his fighters he grew up with prob hearing loads about as a kid (Arguello etc).
Reminds me of me in the fact he's got a hot girl and some decent clobber on his back..
Infact he's so cool even his f*cking gravestone will have sunglasses on it
Big Up Roberto!
Smash my man...
Big up fella.
You know the score man and trust me I think you've made some of the funniest posts on here. You used to run the Lets Get It On boards non-stop with RebekahJade2_UK
and the rest of the slutty girls that were once on here some still (Missy) are.
I'll never forget the Charlie Chaplin video you posted fucken hell man that shit was brilliant and tuned me to renting the movie and watching it.
Thanks for all the laughs and talks fella.![]()
All though I am just a rookie on here (I have been lurking around the forums for some time though), I gotta admit I am a keen admirer of CutMeMick and his incredible knowledge as well. His passion for the sport burns through the screen, and it’s always a pleasure to read his entries as he is articulate, knowledgeable, well reasoned and well spoken, and comes off as a genuine nice guy.
Furthermore I think he does a great job at being objective (Which at times can be a mighty hard task in boxing), where emotions easily take over, well at least they do for me :-), but I guess that’s part of the charm as well.
I have learned a whole lot from reading his posts over time (As I have from several other members on here as well), and I hope I can continue to learn even more in the years to come.
Thanks for making it a pleasure to follow this forum and add extra spice to our beloved sport.
Cheers,

Mick has a passion for the sport which can't be denied...that goes along with his knowledge. He has helped me learn along with many others of you this sport from the history and professional side of things the who, the what, where's and hows and so on...and it has been greatly appreciated. His passion? He went missing for a week or so after the Cotto/Margo fight, and I truly was worried that he either a. threw his PC out the window and kicked in his TV. or b. might be in need or some sorta suicide watch.
A good and fair MOD and a backbone of Saddos. Good luck with your predictions this year Mick. Your rough year 2008 of getting them wrong on big fights proves how unpredictable and interesting, and how anything can and will happen in this sport.
+ he has cool's.
