I hope so!
I hope so!
I heard that their have both agreed 50/50 and their both have signed already!!
That should be how it has gone.... Both these fighters should have a mutual respect for what each other means to the sport and what they have achieved. Neither really needs to play the power game of who deserves more money.. After this fight though either fighter can name their price.
RING Magazine said they're going to go with the 50/50 split on the grounds of England will produce huge PPV numbers to watch Hatton fight while the Philippines shows the fight nationally for free. Since Hatton will be bringing in that type of revenue, he deserves the 50% split.
I'm not positive the fight is signed yet because the specifics aren't settled yet. Specifics as in, gloves, venue, etc..
Pac was a proven draw in the US. Hatton's only Money making & PPV in the US was his KO loss to PBF. Why do you think that Pac PPV fight vs Solis & Diaz still made Money? Why Hatton's fight with Pauli, Collazo, Urango & Castillo were not in PPV? If Pac fight those guys I'm sure it will be PPV. Also Check Hatton's rating on Free TV in the US, he's not that Popular in the US like Pac is.
PBF vs Hatton made money because of PBF recent fight with DLH. Without PBF fighting DLH first, that fight will not made such money. Pac deserves the Lion share on this fight.
Pac does NOT deserve 60%. Hatton is the man at 140 and has a huge draw himself. And as C-Lo correctly points out Hatton is the one who will likely generate up to a million PPV buys in the UK. Thats serious money and as much as I hate DLH it was the DLH name that boosted the DLH:Pac fight as far as it went.
Pac is being a greedy moron by holding out for 60%. He should be a gentleman and split the purse. I hate these guys that squabble over purses. The revenue is huge and the last I heard the Philipines isnt so expensive. 50% is more than enough. Wake up and smell the roses, Manny!![]()
