Just like Tito would do right? and no i don't think Trinidad loaded up his gloves either, but he was accused of the same thing, and then i thought the same thing i think now, that it's just plain out bullshit, and if Capetillo were to do it, well hell you can't automatically say the fighter knew about it, plenty times you see a fighter just relaxing with headphones on while getting wrapped, getting focused for the fight

I am curious Danny G why do you not like Margarito? I can see why alot of people dont like some fighters because of their style or their attitude outside the ring. So I am honestly interested in knowing what you have against Margo?

It was rivalry with Cotto but after he beat Cotto, it was all good. I was rooting for Tony before the Mosley fight, but when news came out that he was loading his gloves, it all made perfect sense. He destroyed Cintron and Cotto and yet his punches against Shane were as though Sergio Mora himself was throwing those weak azz pity pat punches. Like Lampley said, where were those tremendous THUDDING punches against Mosley? He cheated, plain and simple. Fight to win and do what you can and must but adding plaster to your wraps is just a little too much for me. I lost respect for the guy.

In closing, when I found out about the plaster, I immediately began to root for Mosley and I enjoyed the fight very much because someone was caught cheating and got exposed right after.

You don't need give someone time to prepare a legal defense if he is innocent! You clear yourname right away to prevent undo innuendo and rumors from doing damage to your reputation. Or do you think the commission is really that stupid in this day and age of the internet?

And they are telling us that Capetillo will play the fall guy so Margarito can continue his career. Who the hell will give this guy the dignity of a fight if he's crew is found guilty. Cotto? for what? he was beating Margarito on the cards and without the plaster advantage he's done! Once this news is offical the guy is well done! His promoter is the only guy that can save his ass and he'll probably ream it more that prison would.

Fighters and whoever is wrapping their hands have to be on the same page. You can't just wrap every fighters hands the same - every fighter's hands are different and because of that plus their style of boxing - handwrapping should be different and catered toward the boxer. This happens with feedback, input and learning as they develop that relationship. It also comes in training camp if that relationship isn't already in place (new trainer). Fight night is NOT the first time a fighter gets his hands wrapped by an individual.Even for my boxers that I've wrapped their hands for years - I get feedback to make sure the job feels good TO THEM. Doesn't really matter what I think. I'm no pro at handwrapping, but I know that pros know exactly how the wrap job should feel for them.

My point is that unless they 'loaded' his gloves regulary and during training camp - I would think Margarito either 1) knew something was different that night about the handwraps and planned to keep quiet or 2) he knew all along they "wrapped" his hands that way

I don't really buy the "he didn't know" excuse. A fighters hands are his career. You just don't go to sleep and wake up with your hands wrapped.

What if Cotto isnt tha same fighter he was prior to Tony and Tony is found guilty of loading his gloves....I think Tony should go to prison.......He essentially robbed Cotto of a Wolrd Championship career....
