Based on what, none of his fighters have even won a fight? His current 'stars' are 2-15 and 0-3 and have been knocked out 17 times between them. If there is a worse record in the whole history of boxing I have yet to hear of it

I read in another thread Donny mentioning that Animal Pak nutrient supplement was banned in many countries because of the levels of vitamin E and B12.

What are your thoughts are it, a B12 shot prefight? How useful is it and how long does it last?

I drink one of these an hour or two before I fight. I think it helps.

I think it's fine to think that Trainer Monkey was just a bit wrong about the diet thing ........ but he is a real trainer at least (as far as I know), and lots of people here are wannabes ........ there's no reason to give a well-respected poster quite so much shit !

Poor diet advice to kids who have poor diets anyway isn't quite in the same league as pouring plaster of paris in their gloves.

I don't think a lot of us are wannabee trainers.

I see what you're saying and all that but if somebody who claims to be a trainer posts that cheeseburgers and cheese steaks are good pre-fight meals then he's obviously going to get a little bit of shit.

I live on the border, and have not had a problem. If we aren't in the states fighting, we have travelled through it to get to another part of Canada. Plus we go there all the time to shop or visit. I've always brought my own food when weight was an issue going thru. Now they can take certain types...but generally they don't. I've also not ever had a problem finding something healthy in just about any restaurant to suit my needs be it to lose or to gain. Now I've never been to West Vrginia...so maybe it is different there.

But c'mon TM, maybe you should amend the title of this thread. Like call it "food I like when I travel for boxing" or something, anything else. A lot of us don't eat this sort of food, and especially don't eat it directly prior to a fight as it just isn't very good for you. It'll sit on your stomach like bricks and generally not provide the energy of other foods that are easy enough to find. I don't buy the 'most fighters eat at Dennys' either. Based on what?

Based on most of the time if the fighters flying, they end up eating at Denny's or the Hard Rock.
Even with Feur's next fight, while Trinidad has loads of Chinese restaurants, they also have more KFC's per square mile then anywhere on earth.

Are you saying most of the time if you're flying? Because if you are going to say most boxers...aleast back it up with some info. We are in here telling you we don't eat there, or this food. That's is fctual. All I ask is to provide proof of the same. I mean..surely you understand why we are calling you out on this. We don't agree.

If I make a thread that is saying doing bicep. curls is what most fighters do to strengthen their punches...I'd expect to get called out on it. And if I thought I was right, surely I'd be expected to have some facts to back it up.

The facts are just that simple, start flying and you'll find it out for yourself.
They dont let you stray too far for too long, because the fact is,they probably spent more money to fly you in then theyre actually paying you for the fight itself.
So theyre factually keeping you on a pretty tight lead
And airport security factually doesnt let you take food on the plane
And you factually dont get a hotel room with a dinette, the most you get is one with a microwave, and microwave food is factually worse for you then anything I listed.
