I live on the border, and have not had a problem. If we aren't in the states fighting, we have travelled through it to get to another part of Canada. Plus we go there all the time to shop or visit. I've always brought my own food when weight was an issue going thru. Now they can take certain types...but generally they don't. I've also not ever had a problem finding something healthy in just about any restaurant to suit my needs be it to lose or to gain. Now I've never been to West Vrginia...so maybe it is different there.
But c'mon TM, maybe you should amend the title of this thread. Like call it "food I like when I travel for boxing" or something, anything else. A lot of us don't eat this sort of food, and especially don't eat it directly prior to a fight as it just isn't very good for you. It'll sit on your stomach like bricks and generally not provide the energy of other foods that are easy enough to find. I don't buy the 'most fighters eat at Dennys' either. Based on what?![]()
